It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 7 Premiere and The League Report! Charlie Day! Kaitlin Olson! Danny DeVito! Rob McElhenney! Pictures! Autographs! And More!
I will admit, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is one of those shows that keeps getting pushed down on my Netflix queue. It’s like Sons of Anarchy, I know when I finally watch it, I will like it, but I haven’t had the chance to check it out yet. I know, I know… It’s hilarious, I’ll love it, blah blah blah… I just haven’t seen it! lol… CB however is out and about, and just like Sons of Anarchy he love It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia… So, when he found out there was a premiere for season 7 he was like… “I have to go!”
So, off he went… There was also a screening for a show called “The League” as well.
CB also told me that if there is enough demand he might donate one of the posters he got signed at the premiere for a Mike The Fanboy contest so, if you guys want him to leave a comment here or on the facebook page!
Check out CB’s full recap after the jump!

Today I am writing about my awesome experience at the Always Sunny in Philadelphia DVD launch and Season 7 Screening. I’m a big fan of Sons Of Anarchy which airs on FX, and one day while watching it, they ran a promo for Always Sunny. So i tuned in the next time Sunny was on and I just fell in love. I couldn’t stop laughing at how great the show was. Everyone is pure comedy gold. Also at the screening is the cast from another FX show, The League. I will admit, I’ve never seen it, but just in case i had a cast photo. Mike gave me these San Diego Comic Con posters, so i need to give a shout out to Mike for them. Lets hope for the best
5:00 I arrive and its a very small carpet, but we are actually pretty close to carpet. I just hope it wont be as hectic as the Sons premiere.
6:30: Arrivals have started, but since we are at the end, we have to wait for the stars to finish their interviews.
6:35: First one finished and comes over is Stephen Rannazzisi. He signs maybe ten autographs total, then heads back. Still, nice of him to come over.
6:40: Katie Aselton finishes and we yell for her, but she goes into the theatre. She pops out with a drink, then comes over to greet us. She’s really nice and said, “I needed a drink first.”
6:42: She is quickly joined by Paul Scheer. Oh how i miss the show Greatest Week Ever….
6:44: Rhea Perlman, Danny Devito’s wife comes over to greet us.
6:45:Kaitlin and Rob are doing interviews, and once they finish, both come over and greet us. Once again, super nice, even though the crowd is being a bit more aggressive.
6:50: Charlie Day Finishes up his interview and comes over as well. As expected, boom goes the barricade! LOL….still, Charlie signs for everyone and does photo ops.
6:55: Finally, Danny Devito comes over and signs for us. At this point, the barricade is being held up by security, but still, he signs for everyone in the front.
It was a great night. Unfortunately, Glen wasn’t there so I couldn’t get the poster finished, but overall I had fun. Until next time, take care everyone.
Looks like a good time! It’s Always Sunny is an amazing show – I’ve been watching it for years now and the premiere is tonight on FX – super excited and the poster would be great to have! I think it would be an awesome prize (that’s a vote for CB to throw the extra one in)!
That is so awesome! How do you find out about stuff like that? I like in Oklahoma but I would go where ever I needed to see these guys! Sadly I missed their live “Nightman Cometh” when they did that – I found out too late!
