Man oh man, you know… It’s those days when you try and do multiple events that really tire you out. Sigh… Ah well what can you do right? I texted Scotty because one of his favorites Ms. Christina Applegate was doing a rare talk show appearance and I know he’s been dying for her. In fact she finishes his The Sweetest Thing DVD cover! Doh!
I figured I would check it out as well, since I have a few things for Christina Applegate as well. In fact, I’ve been a fan since her Married… With Children days. I watched her NBC show Jessie, saw pretty much every movie she did… So yeah, I’m a fan. LOL…
7:21 p.m. – I just arrived. There are only seven people here which is a nice suprise. Generally speaking when I’ve come here it’s insane even for small people.
7:29 p.m. – Scotty got here around 5ish and Christina Applegate said she would sign on the way out. Actually she said, “Do you guys mind if I do it on the way out? I’m running late!” So, that does seem to bode well.
7:31 p.m. – I only brought a couple things. I have my A View From The Top mini poster and my original Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead counter standee. It’s actually really cool and I’ve had it forever. I think I actually got it when the movie was released on VHS… Cough, Cough… I’m in denial I can even remember VHS.
7:39 p.m. – Oh… Oh… There she is!
Everyone is yelling for Christina and she stops and motions she is going to come on over.
She starts on the end and says, she is going to sign one each. Christina is moving fast but is very polite.
She signs Scotty’s The Sweetest Thing DVD cover and then continues down.
When she see’s my two things, she said, “one each, what’s your favorite!” I said, “Don’t tell Mom! I’ve had this since it came out on VHS, lol… Christina was more than happy to sign, but she did not do photos.
Still, it was very sweet and the signatures were very nice!
See, I would totally rather get one nice autograph then two crappy ones. I’m actually really excited about this. It was very sweet of Christina Applegate to come on over, and it was really nice that no one had to fight the crazy crowds. It was actually a ver simple nice evening!
Until next time kids!
