Jack and Jill World Movie Premiere! Can We Say Total Debacle? I Think We Can!

I’m sorry this is so late. Sigh, but I’ve avoided his write up for a couple weeks. I am kicking myself for even going to this debacle but anyway today is the world premiere of Jack and Jill… Sigh… The Adam Sandler mess that I’m loathing… I’m literally loathing… Sigh… So, why did I go to this you may ask. I actually like Adam Sandler in a few films… Not everything, not even anything this decade, but there are a few things, like The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, etc… I’m especially here for my sister because she likes Zohan, I know just typing it makes me cringe, but still there it is.

Anyway, Scotty is here for Katie Holmes, but really he wants Al Pacino. Erica is here for Tom Cruise, and CB is here because… Well… Because he’s planning on retiring soon… Or so he says, lol…

I’m already embarrassed that I’m here but you know it’s fine. If I can get Adam Sandler on one thing for my sister for Christmas I’ll be happy… And lessen my sadness that this movie even exists.

3:00 p.m. – We just arrived. CB has saved me a spot but Erica and Scotty went to the end of the line. There are not that many people here, and it’s probably due to the fact that they kept changing the date and the time, lol… Ah well…

3:14 p.m. – It’s a chilly day and it could be a sign of rain so they have tented the carpet.

3:18 p.m. – There is a giant photo of Adam Sandler in drag on the background of the carpet… I’m sad… a little piece of my soul has died…

3:25 p.m. – Oh Lord… It’s pretty chilly. I brought my Pieces of April DVD for Katie Holmes as well… I did bring Devil’s Advocate presskit for Al Pacino even though I’m not sure if he will even show up for this, or come over for that matter.

3:49 p.m. – I’m smelling cookies… Mmmmm cooookkkkkkkiiiiiieeeeesssss…..

4:09 p.m. – Hopefully the carpet will start soon. I think it starts at 5.

4:14 p.m. – We see some press people holding the list for the event. We’re trying to zoom in on it to see if we can figure out who is coming.

4:22 p.m. – It looks Al Pacino is on the list…

4:28 p.m. – I could really use some popcorn right now… I must be hungry… Cookies, popcorn, damn…

4:33 p.m. – They are filming some part of X Factor here… Great… A reality show I could care less about!

4:41 p.m. – I hope the arrivals happen shortly… Come on people, the weather looks frightful…

4:52 p.m. – Wait… Wait… There’s a car… Holy crap it’s Adam Sandler!

he’s here ten minutes early! We all call for him, and it looks like he’s bringing his family into the restaurant behind the carpet. Then he comes around. He looks over at us and says, ‘I promise I’ll come back.” He then goes onto the carpet…

Wow, did we just get dissed by Adam Sandler? WTF! Sigh… Wow, this is shaping up to be a great premiere…

5:02 p.m. – There are a bunch of X Factor people arriving now.. there is also a camera guy…

I’m fairly certain Adam Sandler will keep his word. At premiere’s the star usually will come over, not always but I can’t imagine anyone telling a barricade of fans that you’ll come over and then diss them all.

5:14 p.m. – A bunch of tourists are yelling for the X Factor people… At least someone is happy… lol…

5:20 p.m. – hmmm Doesn’t look like Adam Sandler is coming back… Hello!

5:25 p.m. – Jane Seymour just arrived… She is coming over… She signed like seven autographs maybe… Sigh…

5:39 p.m. – Sigh… This is pretty boring… It’s cold, Adam Sandler dissed us… and I dunno… Why am I here? Why…

5:41 p.m. – Oh look celebrity sighting of the day, Mickey Dolenz from the Monkee’s. Whoo Hoo! lol…

5:44 p.m. – Speaking of heavy hitters… David Spade just pulled up. Pinky would be so happy.

I am a tad bit ambivalent… Ah well… At least someone is signing and David’s being pretty cool!

5:45 p.m. – Another arrival… Wait.. It’s Katie Holmes, everyone is going crazy…

and Katie is coming over… I have my DVD out…

and Katie is literally standing in one place… Not moving… Like… What the hell man…

5:46 p.m. – Okay Katie is moving… Away from us… YAY!

Sarcasm is a fine tool. And again Katie takes three steps and stops and then signs autographs for a few seconds…

5:48 p.m. – Well, that was nice… No Tom, No Adam, No Katie… But I did get cold and smelled cookies.. So…

5:52 p.m. – Kevin Nealon just arrived. Always such a nice guy.

He comes over and greets the crowd. I wish I brought my Weeds Season 6 mini poster with me, cause I need Kevin and Alexander on it. But I didn’t bring it. Sigh…

5:58 p.m. – Another arrival.. It’s… It’s… Michael Irvin… He’s really nice and is coming over to sign autographs.

I again have nothing… So, well… This is fun… Grumble…

6:00 p.m. – Oh Lord, there’s Al Pacino…

Everyone is yelling and yelling and yelling, and AL… Goes right on the carpet. Whoo Hoo! Yay!

As you can see, this is why I was avoiding writing this one up. It was an utter debacle. I ‘m pretty pissed that Adam Sandler said he would come back and never did. I mean that’s pretty cold. Anyway, I’m pretty bummed, if you watch the video that Erica took you can see Adam Sandler and hear for that matter Adam Sandler saying he promises he would come back. See, that to me really sucks.

I’m sure everyone will love to share their opinions on the matter, but you know what, I stand by it.
