Knocked Up Star Ms. Katherine Heigl and Dexter’s Julia Stiles sign Autographs for fans!

There are some celebrities that just get a bad rap. One such person is Katherine Heigl. I know her movies haven’t been… let’s just say, Oscar worthy, but she is always so nice. I mean I’ve always heard such great things about her when it comes to he fans. Tonight she’s going on a talk show to promote her new movie Life As We Know It with Josh Duhamel. Also on the show is Dexter’s Julia Stiles. I’ve heard Julia is a tad… testy so it should be an interesting evening to say the least.

5:43 p.m. – I just got here… ugh… It is so late, and there is a barricade full of people here. I mean there’s about 24 -27 people here. Just to be in the ballpark lol…

5:47 p.m. – I see Pinky, and a lot of the usual guys. Katherine Heigl was a last minute addition filling in for Josh Duhamel so I didn’t think there would be a lot of people here… I was wrong.

5:55 p.m. – A woman just walked by with a black and white tie-dyed shirt. I haven’t seen one of those in years. California, where you can wear anything and still fit in!

6:01 p.m. – I have the worst camera in the world with me right now… ugh I hate it and want to throw it in the woods… There are no woods here mind you, but I would like to find woods, take my camera and throw it in there… ahhhhhhhhhhh lovely thoughts.

6:15 p.m. – Damian Marley and Nas are here tonight as well. The lights on the stage are all Reggae colors. Sigh… I’m a little too pasty Canadian for this.

6:19 p.m. – Of course Damian Mary is bringing out some interesting peeps… See… I said peeps there… like slang. 😉

6:24 p.m. – It is getting so cold… brrrrr…. I have my Life as We Know It mini poster for Katherine Heigl and my Bourne Supremacy original UK quad mini poster for Julia Stiles. And my Knocked Up DVD for Katherine Heigl as well.

6:33 p.m. – It’s shocking no one has arrived yet. Usually, and women don’t take offense to this but it always seems the women arrive way earlier. But both Julia Stiles and Katherine Heigl will probably arrive camera ready. And… Oh wait… someone’s coming…

6:34 p.m. – Everyone is shouting Katherine for Katherine Heigl, and … its Julia Stiles… lol… Finally someone yells Julia! And she turns and half heartedly waves… sigh…

6:35 p.m. – At least she waved right?

6:44 p.m. – Oh, and here is… yep it’s Katherine Heigl, everyone is yelling for her, but nothing, no reaction… oh Lord… Finally at the end just before she goes inside, she waves at us… sigh…

6:47 p.m. – This could be a long night kids!

6:55 p.m. – Sigh… Now some Damian Marley fans are coming over drunk. Wonderful. They keep asking about Nas and the guy to the side of me thought they were talking about the fuel from Fast and the Furious. I’m not that out of the loop! I knew that one!

6:59 p.m. – Now security is coming because the guys left, but one of them is drinking a huge bottle of Chardonnay. Now, far be it for me to criticize, but it’s not really gangsta to drink chardonnay… I mean, Merlot maybe but chardonnay… please….

7:11 p.m. – It’s really funny, I keep thinking of all these gangsters drinking white wine while driving along listing to DMX. LOL… That would be like a Weird Al Yankovic parody… I always find it funny when kids try and be all hard core… Ah, God bless them!

7:16 p.m. – It is a chilly night… I have to pee so bad… It’s like I step outside in the cold… I gotta pee… what’s up with that… chilly, and pee… Go figure… If I was an Eskimo I would be peeing every fifteen minutes. And I am from Canada! Doh!

7:21 p.m. – I hear that Julia Stiles is the Meryl Streep of our generation. I’m sorry, that was an inside joke. I know no one out there knows what I’m talking about, but I needed to write down this inside joke for myself and myself only. Lol…

7:26 p.m. – Katherine Heigl should be out soon… well, the show has at least started… so hopefully, that will work… sigh… Ms. Katherine Heigl it’s a might nippy out, would you mind signing for us. You have to say that in a southern accent… and be really REALLY tired…

7:43 p.m. – Oh… something’s happening…. Katherine Heigl’s coming out… Everyone is yelling for her… She stops and takes a picture with someone… it looks like she’s going to jet out… oh man….

7:46 p.m. – Nope! She comes right over. Someone yells out… “Katherine I’m your number one gay!” Lol… She laughs and says, “You are?” She starts on my end and uses my board to sign a Killers poster. Then Katherine Heigl keeps signing like a machine. I got her on my poster and I have to say, she’s super sweet. I mean like… WAY sweet, much more so than I thought she would be.

7:49 p.m. – I got Katherine Heigl on my DVD thanks to one of the other collector’s…

7:51 p.m. – Katherine Heigl signs so much and is so fan friendly. I’m very impressed. She leaves, and waves goodbye… wow, I’m very impressed!

7:54 p.m. – Wow, that was a great surprise, and… oh crap! Julia Stiles is coming out… Dammit I’m not ready!

7:57 p.m. – People are calling for Julia Stiles to come over and she does. I’m again shocked cause I have no head the nicest things about her in the past. She signs, but isn’t terribly friendly. I mean she’s nice and signs so I’m not complaining but after Katherine Heigl it’s not the friendliest experience. Her publicist points her to my poster, but I wanted her in silver and she just signed it in blue. Ah well… What can you do? Both of them came over and signed. For that, I’m thankful. It’s a great night for everyone here! I’m very happy!
