Manic Mondays! Pinky Meets Sam Micelli AKA Sexy Alyssa Milano From Who’s The Boss?!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy here thinking back to a simpler time when I still lived in Utah and seeing a celebrity was a Big Deal. Yep, it’s hard to believe that a few short years ago I was living somewhere so far away that seeing a celebrity at a Taco Bell would be unheard of (unlike now where they could be anywhere). In fact, it was when I was still living in Salt Lake where I first met Alyssa Milano from Who’s the Boss. She was filming a movie called My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend and I couldn’t resist stopping by the set to see if by chance I could meet her.

Now, for those of us who grew up in the ’80s and watched Alyssa play Sam on Who’s the Boss, you either wanted to be her or date her. I can’t even tell you how many people have told me they had a crush on her growing up. As much as I enjoyed her on that show, I was equally smitten with her performance on Charmed.

Still, I wasn’t sure how she’d be in person. At first glance on set, I thought it was going to be a bust, since she walked by quickly during a break with a bitchy look on her face. It was so frightening, in fact, that I was frozen and couldn’t even ask. Luckily, I held steady and waited for the perfect opportunity. Later that day I stood on the other side of the set near her fiancée. When filming broke, she ran over to kiss him and I saw my chance. I quickly asked her for a picture and she was happy to oblige – I think her fiancée even took it. Win!

After I moved to LA, I saw her at another event and she looked amazing. I couldn’t resist getting another pic (even though her husband had us kicked out of the event shortly thereafter….sigh). She was super nice to everyone who asked for a picture. I was stoked.

I only wish her “dad” (from the show, at least), Tony Danza, was as nice to fans. Have I ever told you about the time he shot me down not once, not twice, but THREE times in one day?!? Harsh!
