Meeting 2 Favorites In One Day! Game Of Thrones Star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau & China Beach Emmy Winner Dana Delany! Autographs! Photos! More!

I have to tell you, it’s a rare night when two of your favorites are out and about at the same event. Tonight one of my all time favorite actresses Ms. Dana Delany and Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are doing a talk show together.

Dana of course was in China Beach, Desperate Housewives and now Body of Proof.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is one of the infamous Lannisters in Game of Thrones.

Since the Game of Thrones premiere was hit and miss to be kind, this is a perfect time to try and meet Nikolaj Coster-Waldau when it’s a tad more low key.

6:11 p.m. – I just arrived and there’s only about 14 people here. Some undesirables but for the most part a pretty calm group. Pinky is a the front of the line. She’s been wanting to meet Dana Delany for a while now and I may have coaxed her into getting an Entertainment Weekly magazine with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Lena Headey signed for me today.

6:15 p.m. – Suddenly Susan just arrived. She is a huge Game of Thrones fan as well. She also has her Paleyfest 2009 program from the Desperate Housewives panel for Dana Delaney.

6:23 p.m. – Pinky is giving me grief about getting my magazine signed. Listen, no matter what Pinky says, she is a grapher now. I’ve seen it with my two fanboy eyes.

6:29 p.m. – It’s such a nice day. I wish there was another barricade though.

6:38 p.m. – Susan had an awesome day today, and I have to tell you… Traffic… Not that bad. I know… Shocking!

6:43 p.m. – Well… Today I brought a brand spanking new Desperate Housewives cast poster. I know.. Why? Why start another one. I’m Mike and clearly crazy. For Nikolaj Coster-Waldau I have my aforementioned magazine, a Game of Thrones insert, my cast mini poster and an individual mini poster as well.

6:56 p.m. – Oh, something is happening… It’s Dana Delany. She looks amazing!

I mean damn. She signs down the line and tries to do one each as well as photos.

I wish China Beach was out on DVD! I know it comes out in April, but I wish I had it now. Grrrrrr…

Dana signs for one guy who will not shut up. Then I tell her how happy I am that China Beach is coming to DVD finally. So kind. She just was so nice.

I was able to get a photo with her as well.

7:08 p.m. – Now, we’re just waiting for Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

7:11 p.m. – Susan found a dead silver sharpie on the floor. She’s pointing to it and says, “this is what happens to dead silver sharpies.” lol…

7:18 p.m. – Oh there, it’s Nikolaj Coster-Waldau! He is awesome. He comes right on over, we didn’t even have to call for him.

He signs and signs all down the line. He signs my magazine for Pinky (yes Pinky, I did see it happen) and then continues down the line.

I tell Nikolaj Coster-Waldau how much I love Game of Thrones and he signs my insert and my individual mini poster as well.

Then He signs Susan’s photo and comes back to my cast poster.

Susan gets a nice photo with him. (I think it looks great Susan)

but I didn’t get the photo with him.

Ah well… An excuse to back out again to try to meet Nikolaj Coster-Waldau! You can’t beat that!

All in all a nice pleasant night!
