Meeting Rachel McAdams! Scotty Braves The Rabid Crowd! Falls Into People! And Gets Pushed Around But Finally Meets The Sexy Mean Girls Star! Autographs! Photos! Redhead Sexiness!
Being sick sucks. Ugh… I’m a tad under the weather, otherwise I would have been at this event. I love me some Rachel McAdams! Love her! Regina George for God sakes! The Notebook! Red Eye! Sherlock Holmes! Just to name a few…
But here I am on the couch snuggling with Theo who has made a fun cameo visit this weekend! At least I have Theo snuggles to keep me company!
Scotty did have some success braving the crowds to meet Ms. Rachel McAdams! I think we might have a Fanboy Fail from Jack on this as well. Doh!

Meeting Rachel McAdams
Los Angeles, CA
I just returned from a crazy meeting with the head of the “Plastics,” Regina George, a.k.a. Rachel McAdams. Rachel was making a talk show appearance to promote her new film. I have been working on getting cast members from “Mean Girls” to sign my DVD cover and was excited to add Rachel to it.
Before Rachel arrived, her publicist kindly came over to tell us that Rachel would be arriving any minute and was running late.
Rachel’s publicist assured us that she would have Rachel come over to sign autographs after the show. She was so nice to do this for us. There are so many publicists who are cold and short with fans, so this was a breath of fresh air.
Rachel arrived and we all called and greeted her.
She made her appearance, and as promised came over to sign. Unfortunately, when she got to us, people lost control and were pushing and shoving to get something signed. I lost my balance and fell into those in front of me.
Rachel missed my DVD cover a few times. After stretching as far as I could to have Rachel sign my cover, she finally grabbed and signed it.
I was really excited. Rachel probably only signed 10-12 signatures before security escorted her to the gate. The chaos caused by trying to get a signature ended the experience quickly.
Everyone needs to calm down and line up so each person waiting can get what he or she wants signed.
Thank you Rachel for coming over and trying to accommodate as many people as you could, considering the craziness that ensued. Until next time…

I’m so angry how this event turned out and don’t worry, you’ll hear about it soon with a Fanboy Fail. And for everyone who didn’t attend, the 10-12 autograph esitimation is NOT A JOKE. That’s all she signed at the barricade and maybe a handful more from her car (15 total).
I do not get and never will get the pushing and the shoving. I have gotten autos were everything is peaceful you line up everyone gets their things signed everyone is happy and then we have the chaos events where everyone is pushing and shoving people are getting knocked over I have seen people scream at each other people crying it’s horrible…… It’s like why is one auto so peaceful and happy and the next people are screaming at each other over a autograph pushing and shoving? It makes no sense…..I could say the popularity but some of the the time I go after people who aren’t so popular and chaos still happens!
