Mia Wasikowska Star Of The Kids Are Alright, Jane Eyre And Alice In Wonderland Thwarts Her Publicist And Greets Fans! Autographs And More!

I am a huge fan of Ms. Mia Wasikowska, you guys might know her better as Alice from Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland, personally… While I liked Alice, I didn’t fall in love with it like I wanted. However, I thought Mia was great. Last year when I saw The Kids Are Alright, I was hooked. Mia Wasikowska just has an interesting presence and brings a lot to each role.

Mia was doing a Q and A after a screening of Jane Eyre, and even though Scotty and I were planning on going to the screening, something came up and we couldn’t… Doh! But we could try and meet Mia after the screening…

So… Let’s cross our fingers everything works out…

3:59 p.m. – I just arrived. Only Scotty is here and one other collector. Problem is.. We have no idea when or where they are going to come out! DOH!

4:11 p.m. – Well… We’re still here and nadda.. .lol… At least we’re not stuck behind a giant barricade.

4:15 p.m. – I brought my The Kids Are Alright mini poster and my subscriber W magazine cover. Sadly, the only way to get this cover which I love is with the label… I removed it, but there’s still a spot… DOH! It still looks pretty cool though. I gave Scotty my extra magazine and he brought his The Kids Are Alright DVD.

4:19 p.m. – So, we’ve sort of split up. One in the back and two in the front…

4:29 p.m. – Okay, well some people are leaving the screening… Oh, yeah it definitely just ended…

4:37 p.m. – Oh… Oh… Yes, that’s Mia… The three of us go over and her “person” said, “No, she can’t sign.”

Then Mia said, “Oh, don’t worry about it, I don’t mind!” Really, she was super nice. She signed pretty much two each for us. She seemed rushed so I didn’t ask for a photo, and clearly I’m not Anushika, because I barely managed to snap one shot… Ah well… What can you do right?

I only wish the signatures were a little better. But you know that’s how she signs, so what can you do right?

Mia was very nice, and truth be told I was a little nervous she wouldn’t be that nice. So, I’m very happy!
