The 1980’s icons are all the rage these days.

One of them, Judge Reinhold did a how here in Los Angeles and he left a lot of fans disappointed because he wouldn’t do photos and barely was at his table.

However, Pinky was at the Marvelous Nerd Year’s Eve and was able to have an awesome moment with Judge Reinhold!

Now, I know I said I didn’t want the picture after that, but the truth is that I did. I love Judge. He’s on one of my very favorite Christmas movies (The Santa Clause) and cracks me up every time he’s on screen.

I was dying for a picture with him, so when he showed up as a surprise guest this weekend, I was hoping and praying we’d finally get that picture with him.

At the very least, I was hoping he’d be cooler. Sure enough, on the first day, he was very pleasant. He came by our table, stopped to chat, exchanged pleasantries with Keith. Good start. But I was scared to ask for a picture, so I choked. The next day, I was clamoring for a picture. I went to his table and saw they were $30. Cool! At least he did them at the table now! And happily! Our mutual friend (thanks, Marty!) finally walked us over to his table and we were able to get a picture with him (he didn’t even charge us, although I would have happily paid)! I was so excited that I completely forgot to tell him how much I loved him in The Santa Clause, but I’m pretty sure he knew I was a big fan (since it was written all over my face). I’m so excited! Plus, he’s redeemed! J Hooray!
