Manic Monday! Pinky Is Coming To America After Meeting Emmy Winner Louie Anderson! Selfie Goodness!

Louie Anderson was a surprise Emmy winner this year and while I haven’t seen Baskets yet, I hear he’s amazing in it. Louie Anderson has been around Hollywood for years, he was in Coming to America and even had his own animated series back in the day.

Pinky was lucky enough to get a photo with Louie Anderson this year at the Emmy Awards and he was so nice!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here still on a high from meeting the one and only Louie Anderson at the Emmys.

Louie Anderson! For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a fan of Louie’s. I always loved watching his stand-up routine and loved his small role in Coming to America.

Honestly, there’s nothing he can’t do. I loved him as host of Family Feud, I loved his cartoon (Life with Louie) and I’ve always wanted to meet him.

I’m so proud of his most recent work and especially the fact that he was honored by the TV Academy for his role in Baskets. Honestly, of all the people I was able to meet at the Emmys, he’s one of the ones I’m most excited about – especially since I’d always wanted to meet him. In person he was very kind, very gracious, and exactly how you’d hope he’d be. Thank you, Louie, for being so great, and congratulations on your Emmy!
