Manic Monday! Pinky Says, “I know You Are, but What Am I?” After Meeting Pee Wee Herman Himself, Paul Reubens!

Monsterpalooza was a fun time, but the wait for Pee Wee Herman, was sooo long. Pinky and Keith braved the heat and crowds to meet the childhood icon!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan still jazzed about finally meeting Pee Wee Herman himself, Paul Reubens, at Monsterpalooza last weekend. What a great guy!

Not only did he apologize for the long wait time and the heat, but he seemed incredibly genuine and cool. Our time together was brief, but he certainly made an impression! I was super excited to meet him as I’d only seen him once before at a taping of Extra where he was in full Pee Wee Herman regalia. Sadly, he wasn’t stopping for people that day. In fact, I think I have a picture of him blurredly walking ahead of me in his grey suit out there somewhere. He was also scheduled to be a guest in Salt Lake last year, but canceled at the last minute. Drat! So, it was super awesome to finally have a chance to meet him and get a quick pic. His show was so fun and different! Loved Pee Wee’s Playhouse! I know you are, but what am I?
