It’s always nice to meet someone you think will be nice and have them live up to your expectations.
Steve Guttenberg is such an nice guy and I’m so glad that Pinky got her chance to get a photo with the 80s and 90s star. Steve was in so many of my favorite films growing up, it’s hard to even count how many! In short, he rocks!
Check out Pinky’s Manic Monday below!
Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here a bit tired after an awesome weekend at the STL Pop Culture Convention. Huge thanks to all the great fans who stopped by!
Now, on to today’s Manic Monday….Growing up in the ‘80s, Steve Guttenberg was basically everywhere. His face seemed to always be lighting up a screen somewhere! From Cocoon to Short Circuit to Police Academy to Three Men and a Baby, Steve Guttenberg seemed to appeal to everyone.
I remember one time a few years ago Mikey and I were at a play downtown and I had a “faux Guttenberg” spot that Mikey teased me about mercilessly forever.
(Editor’s Note: OMG I FORGOT ALL ABOUT THAT! M-)
While I didn’t get to meet the “faux,” I still contend it did look like him (at least from far away).
Finally, I had my chance to meet the real Steve in person at the last Hollywood Show. What a nice guy! I love celebrities who seem genuine and down-to-earth – Steve Guttenberg is exactly like you think he’d be in person. Happy, friendly, engaged. All the things I love to see in anyone I’m excited to meet. He had a huge line and got through it with a smile. Thanks, Steve, for being so great!
