Manic Monday! Pinky Falls In Love With Andrea Savage and Amy Sedaris! Selfie Goodness!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here on Memorial Day encouraging you to try out a new show I’m just sure you’re going to love. As it so happens, they’ll be re-running Season One of I’m Sorry on TruTV tonight at 10/9 Central.

Why should you watch I’m Sorry, you ask? The world is a dark place right now…who doesn’t need to laugh? I’m Sorry delivers laughs aplenty and is such an enjoyable show.

Several months ago we were watching Sleeping With Other People (which is an adorable movie and you should totally check out, as well) and fell in love with the comedic timing of the hilarious Andrea Savage. Curious to see what else she’s been in, I started following her on Twitter right about the time I’m Sorry started. I kept seeing people tweet her about how funny the show was, so I decided to check it out myself. I’m SO glad I did! At the time, I didn’t even know if we had TruTV (nor had I ever watched it), but after one episode, we were totally hooked. Ten episodes later and we’ll probably never delete them from our DVR because they’re great to watch if you need a guaranteed laugh. Andrea Savage plays the wife in the show (which is loosely based on her life) and Tom Everett Scott plays her husband. Even better? It’s about to start shooting Season Two!

Last week we were treated to a special screening and panel discussion by TruTV. Not only was Andrea Savage there, but they also featured Amy Sedaris’ new show, At Home with Amy Sedaris (which I’d never heard of before, but am definitely going to watch).

What a treat! Both shows were so funny and the Q&A was a hoot. The event was great! Cocktails were flowing, people were laughing, and the decorations were amazing.

After the Q&A I was able to get pictures with both Andrea and Amy. Woot! I simply cannot recommend this show enough. We love it!

As a reminder, Keith is going to be a guest at Denver Comic Con in a few weeks! Hope to see you there!
