Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here recovering from a busy long weekend celebrating the birth of my oh-so-talented hubby, Keith Coogan. Everyone say it along with me…Happy Birthday, Keith!!! We had a great time at Disneyland and are about to head out to the Sundance Film Festival – wahoo! But before all that, I thought we’d take a look back at one of my faves.
It’s no secret that my love for the TV show Charles in Charge is deep and true, but what you might not know is that I also loved an older show called Eight is Enough.
What do these two things have in common, you might ask?!?! Why, Willie Aames, of course!!!
He was on both shows and has long been someone I’ve been dying to meet. He was scheduled to be at a Hollywood Show last year during the Charles in Charge reunion and I was SO excited to finally meet him.
Sadly, he was working on a cruise ship and was unable to get away at the time. So, when he was posted as a guest for this most recent Hollywood Show, I was cautiously optimistic. Now, attending the Hollywood Show in the middle of Golden Globes weekend (with all the activities going on) is no easy feat, but for Willie Aames, I’d make the journey. I’m so happy I did! Willie was the first table I went to and he was as sweet as can be. Both Willie and his wife Winnie were amazing and I felt like I could talk to them forever. I had a great time chatting with Willie and was so happy to finally meet him. Of course, I couldn’t just get one picture – I had to be sure I had it on my iPhone AND my camera (which, really, is the ultimate test of how I am stoked on someone). He couldn’t have been nicer! Thanks, Willie, for being so awesome.
