MTF Has Gone To The Dogs! Lady Samantha Meets The Artist’s Canine Star Uggie At His Paw Print Signing At Waterstones! Autographs! And More!
MTF has gone to the DOGS! Actually, this isn’t the first post featuring famous animal celebrities, OTG John did one I think last year.
Our own Lady Samantha went out to meet The Artist star Uggie the dog! He was doing a paw print signing at Watersones in Kensington and the Lady of London had to be there.
I can already feel Theo getting jealous!
I will freely admit I have never met a famous animal, but I’m sure I will one day. Uggie is adorable and he gave real paw prints in the book!
Love it!

Sam Meets Uggie
Well I follow a few people and animals on Twitter and Facebook so when I found out Uggie (The Artist) was going to be in London for 1 paw signing I just knew I had to go if I could.
I swapped days off at work (or nights I should say) and got to Waterstones in Kensington at 11am for a 1.30pm signing. We were 2nd in the queue and met some really nice people. I didn’t know if the signing would be quiet or manic. It turned out to be quite manic with many people queuing to meet him and his owner and the writer of the book.
When it was my turn to meet Uggie he greeted me with many licks.
He had already paw printed the books upstairs so we didn’t have to wait. Genuine paw prints at that! You could have a photo or 2 with him whilst the other 2 signed the book.
I have never seen so many press and photographers attend a book signing and I have been to a few. Uggie fever had hit London.
It was one of the best signings I have attended. Being a big fan of The Artist and having met Berenice Bejo last year it was an added bonus.
There’s not many occasions to go to a paw signing. The only other I did attend was for the 2012 winners of Britains Got Talent, Ashley and Pudsey but Pudseys paw print was a stamp. So you can tell who the real star paw signer is, Uggie wins paws down.

Adorable! I love it! That photo of u and uggie is awesome!
Thanks Robin. It took a few attempts to get a fairly good shot of us together so I had to settle for that one as the others he just wouldnt look the way of the camera!
That’s so fun. Man, Uggie was the best in The Artist! Too cute BTW
