It’s sequel madness!
So many sequels so little time!
The film you’ve all been dreading, I mean waiting for.. My Big Fat Greek Wedding part 2. Yes, I’m not kidding. Nia Vardalos is back along with John Corbett. The story picks up 10 years into their marriage and will focus on a new and bigger wedding.
The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, was a huge hit this summer so a sequel isn’t just likely, it’s a given.
Dawn’s director, Matt Reeves, is back for the third installment and has been talking about the new chapter which is coming out in July of 2016. Reeves talked with Coming Soon and said this about the third chapter:
“The first one is sort of how [Caesar] goes from humble beginnings to becoming a revolutionary,” says Reeves. “In ‘Dawn,’ he really rose to occasion of becoming a leader in really challenging and difficult times. The notion of what we’re after with the third is to sort of continue that trajectory and see how he becomes a seminal figure in ape history. He almost becomes sort of like an ape Moses. A mythic status… We’re trying to play out those themes and continue to sort of explore it in this universe. Exploring human nature under the guise of apes.”
And finally… In case you weren’t Dumb enough, there may be a Dumb and Dumber three coming soon.
On the carpet to promote the sequel coming out today, Jeff Daniels and director Peter Farrelly made mention of how they would like to return to the characters sooner rather than later.
Daniels said this on the carpet:
“I love the Farrellys, I love Jim. There’s great value in making people laugh 20 years ago and I hope now. And (if) you get to do it again, you get to do it again.”

Dumb and Dumber Too is doing well in pre-release projections, so there’s a good chance a third installment is underway.
