New Television Poster Round Up! Zooey Deschanel in New Girl! FX’s American Horror Story! Christina Applegate in Up All Night! NBC’s Grimm! NBC’s The Playboy Club! FX’s American Horror Story! And… Gulp… Whitney!

The new television season is upon us, and what does that mean? Brand new shows that will last a whopping 6 episodes! Yay! Actually, I’m getting sort of excited for this television season because there are some awesome shows coming up… well, hopefully awesome lol… I’m super stoked for Pan Am, Ringer, Once Upon A Time, and more…

So, let’s take a look at some of the poster art for some of the new shows shall we?

First up is Grimm from NBC. As soon as I heard about the premise I was like… Dude that could rock! But it’s on Fridays and will probably die. I don’t know who the genius was who put Grimm, and Fringe on at the same time! HELLO! The poster rocks though, and has a spooky yet procedural vibe… I’m digging it!

Also on NBC is the new Christina Applegate series Up All Night… Am I the only one reminded of USA’s Up All Night with Rhonda Shear? What happened to Rhonda Shear? Sigh.. This series looks kinda… well… generic… but with a cast that includes Will Arnett, and Maya Rudolph… I’ll give it a shot!

One show I’m super excited about it FX’s American Horror Story… I know it’s done by the guys who are torturing me with Glee, but the posters are so damn cool. The red and black imagery is creepy but stylized… I think this could rock… And not in a “I’m performing covers while going through teen angst” way…

NBC gets another hard look with what I call the “other 1960’s” set show… The Playboy Club… The posters are fun and pretty good, and I love the whole genre… It’s totally being overshadowed by Pan Am in my mind but I’m going to check it out regardless… Playboy Bunnies! YAY!

Now, FOX has New Girl starring someone I love and hate Ms. Zooey Deschanel. I really enjoy her, but she’s pretty nasty in person… so, I’m not sure about these posters that paint her as all sweet and adorable… I do love the bright yellow, and I know I’m going to check it out so what can you do right?

Finally, the poster series I despise, and hate with a passion that is so bright… Whitney… UGH… I just hate… HATE this whole thing… I hate the previews, I hate the posters, I hate Whitney Cummings, all of it… It makes me have violent impulses… Sigh… And then they release FIVE… Yes, FIVE posters for this crappy series… WHY! WHY GOD WHY! Ugh, I’m hoping this one goes away FAST!
