Welcome party people to the PCC — thanks for stopping by on this first Friday of August. Hope your month is off to a great start. I’m still on a musical high from attending the “Legends of the Summer” concert featuring Justin Timberlake and Jay Z at the Rose Bowl last weekend with my Denver BFF, Jess. If the tour comes to — or near — your town, I have one word for you: GO! As for this week’s PCC lineup, I have a few other words. And here they are…

X-cuse me?!


Simon Cowell is going to be a first-time dad — after getting his good friend’s wife pregnant. So, guess we can check that dude’s name off the short list for godfather.

Here’s hoping the “X Factor” guru, worth an estimated $350 million, is a better father than friend. One thing’s for sure: That baby mama is about to get paid! Cha-ching, trollop!

For some reason, the marketing team at DOVE chocolate thought it would be a fantastic idea to launch its new flavor, mint and dark chocolate swirl, by creating a chocolate version of Mario Lopez. And then displaying it. For the public. In the daylight. While this was bad, it was light years better than the caramel Dustin Diamond.

Nick Jonas has muscles. And he wants us all to know, sharing this selfie earlier this week. He captioned it, “I never do this…” I’m gonna need him to look up the word “never” — and truly apply its meaning.

Following Sunday night’s amazing concert at the Rose Bowl, Jay Z and Justin Timberlake held a star-studded after-party in a private room backstage. In addition to Beyonce and Jessica Biel, of course, A-list guests included Jessica Alba, Kelly Rowland and Wilmer Valderrama.

Wait…Wilmer Valderrama? Oh, apparently it was just “a list” of attendees,” not necessarily “A-list.”
