Once Upon A Time…
I have to tell you, I really enjoy Once Upon A Time, it’s one of the most creative shows on television today and it was created by two of the writers of Lost sooooo You know there’s going to be twists, turns but God willing not a hatch!
For the third night of Paleyfest 2013 the cast and creators assembled for an evening to discuss season 2 and look ahead at the rest of the season coming up.
I admit I was a tad late in getting in today and Billy Beer gave me a touch of attitude which I probably deserved. But after getting my late ass up to get him some of his namesake he was fine. lol…
They showed the episode that was airing later on in the evening of 3-3-13 and also a brief intro to the 3-10-13 show.
After the episode the cast and creators arrived on stage. The panelists were…
Edward Kitsis, Creator & Executive Producer
Adam Horowitz, Creator & Executive Producer
Ginnifer Goodwin, “Snow White”/”Mary Margaret Blanchard”
Jennifer Morrison, “Emma Swan”
Robert Carlyle, “Rumplestiltskin”/”Mr. Gold”
Lana Parrilla, “Evil Queen”/”Regina”
Josh Dallas, “Prince Charming”/”David Nolan”
Colin O’Donoghue, “Captain Hook”
Emilie de Ravin, “Belle”
I have to tell you, I love going to q and a’s and it’s always more fun when the cast really like each other. You can really tell that this cast in particular enjoy hanging and working together.
There were a lot of highlights but for me I loved it when Emilie de Ravin said “lost” and the entire audience went… “ooooooooooooohhh” lol… It was pretty funny.
Lana Parrilla who is adorable BTW and Robert Carlyle had a lot of fun playful moments especially when Robert talked about trying to jokingly (or not) kill Henry.
Seeing Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin outside of their respective roles, honestly they still act like Snow and Charming. I mean they are adorable together!
Jennifer Morrison and the rest of the cast really payed tribute to the creators Eddie and Adam on the panel.
Some cool teasers is the Emile’s Belle is going to have her alter ego finally revealed and she’s going to be slightly opposite of Belle which is fun.
Lana Parrilla also said the Evil Queen is going to go back to her evil ways.
Eddie teased that there is going to be a flashback episode to the first week of Storybrooke and we will find out why Regina wanted to adopt a child.
Oh, and we might see a darker side of Snow White according to Ginnifer Goodwin! I kind of like that!
Eddie also said This season’s two-part finale will be titled “Second Star to the Right” and “ And Straight On ‘Til Morning.”
Oh and the Mad Hatter is not going to be recast! Which I find awesome and interesting! Eddie said he may not show up after a while!
That was a lot of information man… Whew!
When the moderator said, “Final Question” the entire audience started to re-situate themselves…. It was an ominous sign of the crazy that was about to happen.
After the panel, I literally stepped out of my seat and I honestly don’t think my feet hit the floor. I was pushed all the way down to the front. Thankfully, I was going down there anyway, but still. It was almost as bad for Walking Dead, the kicker is the cast had to fly out so they didn’t stay as long to sign.
In front of me was Josh Dallas, Jennifer Morrison and Ginnifer Goodwin. Josh signed my mini poster and then signed my cast photo as well.
Jennifer Morrison signed my “Hope” individual poster that I’ve had for two years, and then I got her on my mini poster. She came back my way and signed my cast photo.
Ginnifer Goodwin was signing and signed my mini poster, she went down the other way and then came back and signed my cast photo.
Colin O’Donoghue was coming this way and signed my mini poster and then I think I haphazardly and accidental impregnated someone because I literally could not move. I mean it was crazy cakes. Someone behind me said I was leaning on her and I’m like sweetie I’m standing straight up but you probably shouldn’t have tried to squeeze in behind me and the seat behind me.
Sigh, I feel bad but what can you do when you can’t move? I mean I’m sorry, but if you’re in the back you have a better chance of getting out than I can?
Emile DeRaven signed only for one side and left.
Lana Parrilla was signing a bunch of stuff but then when she realized she had to go moved super fast down the line. I got her on my mini poster but that was it! She was off and moving fast. Granted she was really trying to get everyone which I totally get. I heart her!
Somewhere in the madness I got Eddie on my mini poster as well.
Robert Carlyle was all the way on the other side and then he was making his way down to us. He was only doing one per person really, which again I totally understand. I have one more individual mini poster for my set so I got him on that.
It’s a great Mr. Gold individual so that was cool.
All in all, it’s a lot of work these festivals! It’s not as easy as it used to be. LOL…
Still when there’s a show you really like, I guess it’s worth it!
Until next time kids…
