Photo Flops! Pinky Meets Love Actually Star Laura Linney But Flops With The Photo! Doh! Burry Heartbreak!

Oh the dreaded Photo Flop! I love to share in people’s pains when they don’t get that rare and beloved celebrity photo. Sigh… What can you do right? This time sharing her pain is none other than celebrity photo opp queen Ms. Pinky!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy here with a photo flop that still makes me sad. You see, I happen to think Laura Linney is incredible. She’s outstanding on her current show, The Big C, and when I met her she knocked it out of the park in an indie film called, “The Savages.” I was thrilled to get the chance to meet her at Sundance and the second she came down off the stage I was there waiting to hopefully get a picture. The good news is that she said yes to the picture; the bad news is that it didn’t exactly turn out.

For some reason, a random girl took my camera and said she’d take the picture for me (which is part of the reason I don’t like other people taking my pictures – they always seem to mess it up). I knew I shouldn’t have trusted her. She didn’t know what she was doing and told me it was fine afterwards just so that she could get her picture. That jerk. She lied! When I saw my picture I was heartbroken as it’s as blurry as blurry can be. Of course, by then it was too late – Laura was gone and my moment was over. Curses! That happened many years ago and I’ve never seen her since. Boo. Oh, well. If you squint you can tell it’s us. Hopefully someday I’ll be able to see her again and let her know how much I enjoy her work on The Big C. Until then, I’ll have to squint at our picture and pretend it’s OK.
