Renewals and Cancellations! Alien: Earth Gets A Second Season! Poker Face and English Teacher are Cancelled!

It looks like Poker Face, the second year Peacock series is hitting the cancellation graveyard. The Natasha Lyonne series didn’t get a renewal for a third season.

Director Rion Johnson, is said to be shopping a new version of the series with Peter Dinkladge as the lead. Natasha Lyonne would apparently stay on in an executive producer capacity.

No official word yet on whether another network will give it a chance.

FX is saying goodbye to English Teacher. The comedy series which ended it’s second season earlier this year will not see a season three.

This could be partly because of the Hulu and Disney Plus streaming merger coming.

On another front, Alien: Earth is going to continue for a second season on FX.

The series, which has gotten great reviews, made a splashy premiere on FX and did a great activation at San Diego Comic Con and in major cities across the country.
