Fox just renewed American Idol for a fifteenth season! A no brainer right?
And NBC renewed Law and Order: SVU for a 16th season! Damn… 16 years!
And say goodbye to some FOX comedies… Dads, Enlisted and Surviving Jack… Well… Didn’t.
All three comedy series were log shots to return, with Dads especially getting some horrible reviews.
Hourlong drama Rake is also gone, though not “officially” cancelled.
Erica has the new shows picked up for next season so make sure and check them out and get ready to fill the void left by these series. I’m seeing the petition now… #SaveDads… #DadSaves? Hmmmm Maybe not.

I can’t believe they’re canceling “Dads”. Sure, the first few episodes sucked but they were starting to find their groove and the writing was getting better each episode. I was hoping they would bring it back.
It’s time to cut the juglar of Law and Order, CSI, Criminal Minds, and all those other shows that have been on way too long.
Anybody else agree?
I agree! These shows that last a decade.. Man. Some still have juice like Bones but so many just run on fumes.
