Renewals And Cancellations! RIP The Bridge! The FX Series Has Been Let Go After Two Seasons!

It looks like The Bridge has closed it’s borders.

The FX series starring Weeds alumni Demian Bichir and Diane Kruger has been cancelled following the completion of its second season. The series premiere to over three million viewers but slowly lost viewers coming into it’s second season with the premiere only gathering 1.5 million viewers.

The Bridge dealt with one murder on two opposite sides of the border, and was based off of a Scandinavian series.

In season two the show focused more on politics than the serial killer of the week storyline.

But fans of the series should take note. All hope is not lost. According to The Wrap, Shine America is looking for new homes for the series. Keep your fingers crossed!
