Renewals! The CW Orders Second Season Of iZombie! CBS Takes Supergirl To Series! And More!

On the bubble series, iZombie has been given the green light on season 2! The series created by Rob Thomas AKA Mr. Veronica Mars hasn’t been a breakout hit. It has however, been steady and has started to develop a loyal cult following.

Sound familiar Veronica Mars fans?

No news of when season 2 will air or if it will be a full season order or just a truncated 13 episode run.

iZombie stars Rose McIver who is a zombie. She is a med student who eats brains and solves crime.
Speaking of crime or crime fighters or just comic book based series, Supergirl has been given the green light as well.

CBS has ordered the pilot to series. Erica mentioned in her weekly TV Heartbeat that is was a likely candidate for fall and now there’s official confirmation.

Glee’s Melissa Benoist is in the title role and it also stars Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh, Helen Slater, Dean Cain, and more.
