SAN JOSE, Calif. — Nov. 12, 2025 — Roku is hitting the road with Skydance Sports, NFL Films, Alfred Street Industries, Hyphenate Media Group, and executive producer Eva Longoria for epic stories, food, and hardcore team pride in the new original series “NFL Hometown Eats” (wt). The series will debut in 2026.

“NFL Hometown Eats” (wt) will follow a die-hard celebrity fan and an NFL star as they take to the streets of their team’s city, reliving game-day glory, diving into local traditions, and devouring its most legendary eats. There will be big flavors, epic stories, and hardcore team pride—served fresh every episode. The three-part series will kick off with executive producer Eva Longoria alongside an NFL player from her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.

“Food and football are two of America’s greatest unifiers. With ‘NFL Hometown Eats,’ we’re shining a spotlight on the people and places that fuel the spirit of the game — from the legendary local spots to the hometown heroes behind the grill,” said Brian Tannenbaum, Head of Originals, Roku Media. “We’re thrilled to partner with the world-class teams at Hyphenate Media Group, NFL Films, Skydance Sports, and Alfred Street Industries to celebrate the communities that make the game bigger than the field.”

“Sports and food bring people together in a way almost nothing else can,” said executive producer Eva Longoria. “At Hyphenate, we’re passionate about telling stories that connect people through culture, community, and shared experience, and ‘NFL Hometown Eats’ does exactly that. I’m excited to team up with the Dallas Cowboys to kick off the series and show how a city’s love for its team lives in kitchens, game-day traditions, and the unshakable fan loyalty passed down through generations. This series is a celebration of the people and places that give football its soul, and I’m thrilled to be bringing it to life with our amazing partners at Roku, the NFL, Skydance Sports, and Alfred Street Industries.”

“‘NFL Hometown Eats’ is a road trip unlike any other that will explore how football and food combine to create incredibly unique and vibrant cultures across America in our NFL cities,” said Lauren Gaffney, VP of Unscripted, Skydance Sports. “We’re excited to be partnering with Roku, NFL Films, Alfred Industries, and Hyphenate Media Group to bring this adventure to life.”
