Scotty Heads Out To Meet SAG Award Winner and Academy Award Nominee Viola Davis and Reports She is Kind, She is Smart and She is Important!
Scotty headed out last night to try and meet SAG Award winner and Academy Award Nominee Ms. Viola Davis… I always get nervous when someone I like gets an Academy Award nomination… A lot of times it goes to their heads… Cough… Cough… Octavia Spencer… But I’m pleased to report that Ms. Viola Davis is just as lovely as ever.
Last night Viola made a rare appearance at a Q and A for The Help and Scotty was there to get his W Magazine signed. W Magazine does an amazing job with their photo shoots every year for the movie issue and Scotty loves getting those signed. So, without further delay, I’ll let Scotty take it away… So didn’t mean the rhyme there… lol…

The Help Screening
Viola Davis in person
1/30/12
I am still tired after the SAG Award festivities. Don’t get me wrong, I had a blast with Mike last night, but I am sleepy. I heard that Viola Davis was doing a Q & A for the Help this evening. I had the new issue of W magazine with Viola’s portrait that was screaming to get signed. So, I made my way down with a friend to see if Viola would sign for us when she arrived. We got there and waited 20 minutes. Viola arrived and graciously signed and took photos. S
he was so kind. The portrait looks AWESOME signed. Thank you Viola for being so NICE and making my evening!
<3 <3 Viola Davis!! She is definitely kind, smart, and important!!! I love her message she spreads in every acceptance speech- always to dream big!
I sent every member of The Help a fan letter and pics to sign back when they were filming the movie on set in Mississipi. I thought it was a lost cause and they didn't get passed on but almost a year and a half later, Viola Davis was the only one I got back, and she wrote on it Dream big 🙂 Made me happy!
Now that’s very interesting. I was there at the Q&A and she didn’t sign inside at all. As a matter of fact, she left pretty quickly, but the theater staff pretty much encouraged her to leave immediately. Glad you had success Scotty
