Scream Queens Season 1 Episode 12 Review And Recap! Dorkus!

We start this week right where we left off. Pete is frantically trying to explain himself to a petrified Grace. After catching Boone red handed, Pete has made a pact with the Devil himself to take down the Kappas. He claims Boone’s mission aligned with theirs; a few kills to save the masses. Pete not only took down a few innocents, but also one of the Red Devils, Boone. Even though Grace tried to do the same by attempting to kill Dean Munsch, she was disgusted by Pete’s reasoning and tries to kill him. She storms out never wanting to lay eyes on Pete again, but freezes in her tracks when Pete drops the next truth bomb; the remaining Red Devil is part of the Kappa sisterhood. Grace comes back, but unfortunately the Red Devil gets to Pete before he manages to reveal the name.

After going through yet another failed attempt at Dean Munsch’s life, Chanel sends out a flaming email expressing her utmost disappointment with her sisters. Chanel’s infamous mean email to the Kappa sisters gets out in to the public and raises havoc among the students and the nation. She is named “Worst Person Alive”. Chanel doesn’t let this cramp up her style; “You all can suck it!” Even though she held her ground in public, Chanel felt defeated inside and decides to seek peace from an Asp just like Cleopatra. Luckily, her deadly bite turned out to be a sweater wearing Garter snake. Zayday ends up giving Chanel the much needed pep talk. For the first time ever Chanel learns the power of words and joins forces with Zayday as true Co-Presidents of the Kappa house.

Their bonding session gets cut short by the Red Devil killer. Zayday karate chops him down under. After getting back up, he gets distracted by the snake and Zayday takes him down again. He finally gives up and pleads for mercy; so unlike the Red Devil. Zayday takes his mask off and he claimed he was forced to attack the duo. The girls drag him downstairs and Hester rushes in freaked out by a strange girl in a veil covered in scars. The random dude in the Red Devil suit ends up being an unfortunate delivery boy. He apparently got knocked out and woke up wearing the suit wrapped in dynamite. The Kappa girls ran as fast as they can in their stilettos to take cover before the pizza guy painted the house red.

Once Chanel shuts Chanel #5’s breakdown, she stirs up a plan to restore her reputation; an apology tour. What better way to kick off her tour than to visit her former Kappa House President, Melanie Dorkus. Hester stays back to play sticky fingers in Chanel’s closet. Chanel #5 bales on them as well as soon as she gets her first and only match on Tinder; yup, someone swiped right.

Grace goes to Wes for advice. Looks like falling in love with killers runs in the family. They finally hash things over and are back on the same team thanks to their long lost distractions. We know the remaining killer is one of the sisters, but there’s only one way to narrow it down; Grace convinces Wes that he has to “take one for the team”.

Dean Munsch walks into a maze of lit candles and rose pedals. It looks like a Cherub exploded all over the place. Speaking of Cherubs, Dean Munsch finds Wes on her bed wearing nothing but a rose and a black Speedo. My eyes, they burn! You just can’t un-see an image like that. Nonetheless, I’m sure in Dean Munsch’s case, the image is taken right out of her dreams. She hesitates to believe his true intentions, but Wes’s kickass 90’s soundtrack gives her the push she needed; she did listened to her heart.

The plan takes an unexpected turn when Wes ends up having the best sex of his life; he is a man again. Wes is totally “down” to be with Dean Munsch. However, she accepts him on one condition; “Gracey go bye bye.” We can’t really blame her since Grace will do everything in her power to break them apart.

Meanwhile, Grace and Zayday sneaks in to take a peek at the student files on Dean Munsch’s laptop. They check out the courses to see which sister lined up with the Red Devil killer’s skills. Narrowing down the sister ended up being a lot easier than expected once they read their personal and family history. Someone really needed to add some detective shows to their TV list.

Chanel and Chanel #3 visit Melanie Dorkus to make their apology video. After living in an Arctic compound, her parents moved Melanie back to be among people again. Chanel starts her apology while Chanel #3 recorded the whole ordeal. What started out as an apology turned into a murderous rampage. Chanel kept trying to stab Melanie with a pair of gold scissors accusing her of being the killer. Grace and Zayday storms inside the mansion to catch Boone’s crazy half. Zayday stops Chanel right on time to save Melanie. Grace finally reveals the name of the killer; it’s Hester! Who is surprised? I think we all sniffed out that crazy a mile away.

They all head back to the house to catch Hester. A deafening shriek leads them towards Chanel’s closet. On their way over, they bump into a peeved Chanel #5. It seems like her date isn’t real after all; just a “Photograph”. The Kappas find Hester on the floor sporting six inches of bloody hell. Just when you thought she was dead, Hester wakes up and points to Chanel #5; “Red Devil!” Chanel #5 is the Red Devil killer??? What??? I don’t see her having the mental capacity to carry out the elaborate schemes.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait another week to find out. The final episode up next…..
