SDCC Roundup! ABC Announces Talent and Booth Autograph Signings! The Goldbergs! Nathan Fillion! Lauren Cohan! And More!

SDCC is almost here and ABC has announced they are bringing talent and more to the con!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here just back from a relaxing vacation in honor of our wedding anniversary. But just because we were on vacation, don’t think we’d miss the 100th episode of one of our favorite shows, The Goldbergs! In fact, we made sure that we had our dinner and were settled in our hotel room just in time to watch the masterpiece that was the 100th episode (not that they all aren’t great – because they are). Congratulations to the cast, crew, and everyone involved in making this magnificent show. Two weeks ago, they held a special celebration at Paley with the cast of The Goldbergs. Well, it was promoted to be the cast (minus Jeff Garlin). I was super excited because the one person I’m dying to meet still is George Segal and he was on the list for the show. With tickets purchased, we headed out to see our beloved cast members, but when they came out onstage, only Wendi McLendon-Covey, Hayley Orrantia, and Adam F. Goldberg himself were the ones who came out as promised. Now, while they did add in a few people to the line-up (Lea Thompson, who directed the show, Doug Robinson, one of the producers, and Sam Lerner, who plays Geoff Schwartz), it was still a huge bummer to be missing Troy Gentile, George Segal, and Sean Giambrone. Luckily, I’ve been able to meet quite a few of the cast members from the show, but I’m still missing George (curses!). Everyone has been super cool and I can’t wait to see what this show does next. If you’ve never seen an episode, I highly recommend checking it out. For anyone located in Northern California, Keith Coogan will be a guest at Mouse Con this Sunday in South San Francisco.
