Pop-culture purveyor Shout! Factory returns to San Diego Comic-Con International in 2019 with a dynamic lineup, featuring captivating panel events for the beloved Adult Swim series Home Movies, the acclaimed documentaryWhat We Left Behind: Looking Back at Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Shout! Factory/Scream Factory; new official Mystery Science Theater 3000 merchandise; Comic-Con exclusive items; and engaging booth activities including a BoJack Horseman AR experience. Convention attendees are invited to join in the excitement at the Shout! Get your favorite McGuirkisms ready! On Thursday, the classic Adult Swim animated series Home Movies is celebrating its 20th anniversary with its first-ever panel! The fan-favorite show is feted with a cast reunion featuring co-creators Loren Bouchard (Bob’s Burgers) and Brendon Small (Metalocalypse), plus cast members H. Jon Benjamin (Archer, Bob’s Burgers) and Melissa Galsky (Bob’s Burgers). Revisit your favorite characters, episodes and more with the team that brought them to you! Moderated by Dan Casey (Nerdist).
On Friday, Trekkers of all ages won’t want to miss What We Left Behind: Looking Back at Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Join Star Trek: Deep Space Nine showrunner Ira Steven Behr, filmmaker David Zappone and select ST:DS9 cast members (including Andrew Robinson, Aron Eisenberg, Cirroc Lofton, Chase Masterson, and Penny Johnson Jerald) for an in-depth journey into the critically acclaimed documentary feature film about Star Trek’s dark and often overlooked “middle-child” series. Moderated by Brian Ward (Shout! Factory), the panel will also feature NEW footage not included in the film’s theatrical release.
