Funko Funday! Jordan Gets A “Bang” Out Of Meeting The Big Bang Theory Star Simon Helberg! Autographs! And More!

A few months ago, I had the incredible opportunity to meet another member of the cast from my all-time favorite show, “The Big Bang Theory.” Meeting each cast member is a rare goal, and getting their signatures on my Funko Pop! figures with a paint pen adds another layer of adventure to the experience.

Back when the original Funko Pop! set for “The Big Bang Theory” was released, I wasn’t into collecting Funko figures, and frankly, I didn’t even know much about them. However, as time passed, my passion for collecting grew. Eventually, Funko released another set featuring the characters from “The Big Bang Theory” as superheroes: Raj as Aquaman, Howard as Batman, Leonard as Green Lantern, Penny as Wonder Woman, and Sheldon as the Flash.

Recently, Simon Helberg, who portrays Howard Wolowitz, was in town performing in a sketch comedy show alongside Bob Odenkirk. This was my chance, and I seized it eagerly, adding Howard’s signature to my collection. With this addition, I’m now only three signatures away from completing the entire “Big Bang Theory Super Hero” set.

Each encounter with a cast member feels like a milestone in my collection journey, and I eagerly anticipate the day when I can proudly display the complete set, a testament to my love for the show and its unforgettable characters.
