Super Short Sunday – Deborah Cox Edition

I have been a huge fan of EDM music for years. EDM, to me, encompasses house, trance, remixed pop songs, and anything that gets people moving. During the early 2000s, remixed R&B, pop, and rock songs were dominating the club charts. Maxi-singles were sold with the latest remixes. I loved finding the newest maxi-singles, and import singles, to acquire all the remixes of a song. One artist who had many songs remixed for the clubs was Deborah Cox. Every song remixed was a gem. Recently, Deborah was in LA on stage performing the lead role in “The Bodyguard The Musical.” I was able to meet and geek out on Deborah. She could not have been any nicer. She said she would sign everything I had. Of course, in regular geek out fashion, for me, I began singing each song as she signed. Her friends laughed and said it was great that she had a real fan come out to meet her. Thank you, Deborah for making the night awesome!
