This entry is not that short. This week, I attended The Killer’s concert for their Wonderful Wonderful Tour 2018. The Killers performed at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for two sold out nights. The show was EPIC! I was able to get a spot on the barricade in the front. This was their second best set I have seen in person. Their best set, for me, was the Sam’s Town Decennial show that took place in 2016. Let’s be real, The Killers cannot put on a bad set, but there are certain shows where something special happens and the energy is turned up a notch. Thursday night’s show was one of those shows.

Even with the absence of Dave and Mark on the stage, Brandon and Ronnie brought everything and more to the stage. Brandon Flowers continues to prove to be one of rock’s most amazing front men. He has energy, charisma, and the vocal chops to put on a brilliant show. Ronnie is definitely a force to be reckoned with on the drum set. He exudes passion for his playing.

I was really looking forward to hearing the new tracks from their new album live. Wonderful Wonderful was definitely a highlight for me to hear live. I also enjoyed hearing Rut and Tyson vs. Douglas lives. The setlist was as follows:

Wonderful Wonderful
The Man
Somebody Told Me
Spaceman
The Way It Was
Run for Cover
Smile Like You Mean It
For Reasons Unknown
Jenny Was a Friend of Mine
Rut
Tyson vs. Douglas
Human
The River is Wild
A Dustland Fairytale
L.A. Song
Runaways
Read My Mind
All These Things That I’ve Done
ENCORE:
The Calling
Andy, You’re A Star
Mr. Brightside

Thank you to The Killers for an AMAZING night. I will be reliving this night in my head and when watching my videos for a long time. If you have not heard the new album, give it a listen on a streaming site or pick up the CD.
