For today’s super sleepy Short Sunday, how can one person be so tired I ask you? But I am! LOL… Scotty has put together his recap of the Spirit Awards! It was a fun day aside from the fact I missed a few key people.

I wasn’t planning on going to the awards this year because of the rain we have had. I got up in the morning and saw that it was raining outside. Hooray! I made my way down knowing there weren’t many people waiting. I figured if it started to rain I would just go home. Luckily Billy Beer was there and had an extra spot. I wasn’t holding my breath for anything, so whatever we get would be a major bonus for the day.

I was most excited for Gong Li as she is rarely here. I loved her as Hatsumomo in “Memoirs of a Geisha.” I got her to sign my photo and was thrilled. I was also excited to meet Michael Fassbender for the first time. He was very nice and signed my Hollywood Reporter. I was also thrilled to get Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon. Aside from the MAJOR BUMMER of leaving when it rained and missing Brad and Angelina, it was a wonderful day. My bad luck streak with Angelina and Brad continues! Thank you to all the celebrities that made their way over and made the fans happy!
