The Outdoor Retailer Innovation Gallery got under way Friday January 18 with multiple talent and filmmaker visits, celebrity portraiture, events and partner activations. Celebrities and filmmakers visiting the venue during the day included Michael Cera; Snowboarder Kevin Pearce (THE CRASH REEL); Bill Pullman; Tim Daly; Oscar Winning Director and actor Ray McKinnon; Eduardo Sanchez; Lucy Walker and more. They enjoyed products from Outdoor Retailer partners including Adidas Outdoor, as well as Patron, Tequila; Stella Artois; Bota Box; Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Amp, Sierra Mist and Aquafina; Popchips; Sabra Hummus, and Clif Bar.

Famed photographer Henny Garfunkel shot the filmmakers, film casts and visiting Sundance talent for Paper Magazine. http://www.hennygarfunkel.com/about.html. In the evening, two parties took place: one for documentary AFTER TILLER, the documentary surrounding the assassination of Dr. George Tiller, and Egyptian revolution documentary THE SQUARE.
