Super Star Sat! Scotty Heads To The Maleficent Premiere And Adores Angelina Jolie but was Sad For Michelle Pfeiffer Disses! Doh!
“Super Star” Saturday – Angelina Jolie and Harris Dickinson Edition

This week, I went out for the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil premiere. My main goal was to hopefully have Michelle Pfeiffer sign a couple of items. Anything else I got from the rest of the cast would be icing on the cake. UNFORTUNATELY, Michelle didn’t come over to meet fans. I am a little shocked that she didn’t come over being that she is one of the main leads in the film.
To no surprise, this week’s “super stars” have been over the top nice to myself and other fans in the past. Angelina arrived near the beginning of the premiere. Angelina got out of her car all the way down the street from where we were standing, in the fan pit, and did selfies with all the tourists and passers-by that happen to be at the right place at the right time. It took her a while, but Angelina made it down to us as well, signed autographs, and took pictures with everyone who asked. She is definitely a CLASS ACT!
I was also excited to get Harris Dickinson again as I am a big fan of the new Netflix series, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Harris had to do the carpet and said he would come over afterwards. True to his word, he did just that and signed and took photos. Harris was so kind. As I fanboyed out on how much I enjoyed his work, he said, “I remember you. Thanks for the kind words.” I was shocked that he remembered me. It made me even more of a fan that he appreciates the support from the fans. Again, CLASS ACT!
Michelle Pfeiffer could take a lesson from these two celebrities who came over and made our day. They made all those hours of waiting worth it. Thank you, Angelina and Harris for being amazing! You are both “super stars” in my book!

So let me get this straight. Angelina signed and did pics for the entire line or just the fan pit section??? How did they pick people for the fan section? You’ve already got her so help the rest of us out! lol

This fan pit was a first come, first serve basis. I got in line early. It didn’t really matter because she got out of her car and started posing for pictures way before the fan pit. Go figure.
The last couple of premieres for Angelina were not as good for us because security handpicked people for the pit. If they knew you from other events, they did not pick you for the fan pit. At those premieres, security guided her straight to the fan pit areas and didn’t allow her to sign for the people outside those designated sections. It was very annoying. For one of the premieres, I yelled to Angelina that we had waited hours and security purposely didn’t let us into the area. At that point, she waived to me to pass my poster over so she could sign it. Again, she is AWESOME, so that was no surprise. How can anyone not love her?
Yea I saw that about previous premieres so guess she’s lightened up on the rule of just going to the fan area. Hope to make it out for her next premiere and hope she’s as cool with the crowd again! Thanks for the help!
