The Avengers: Age Of Ultron Hall H Panel Recap! Chris Hemsworth! Robert Downey Jr.! Chris Evans! Mark Ruffalo! And More!
The Avengers: Age of Ultron took hall H by storm at this years comic con. The cast hit the stage for a panel to talk about the new film. The panel consisted of Robert Downey, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson, James Spader and Paul Bettany.
Robert Downey Jr. came and delivered roses to the audience.
Talking about the film, the cast was upbeat and excited. “They don’t treat me like this at home (to thunderous applause from the audience) That’s real nice thank you.” said Mark Ruffalo. “People don’t know who I am other than Hulk. People shout HULK! HULK!”
“It just keeps getting better. I’m so excited we’re all here. We have a real nice movie coming out for you guys next year.” said Robert Downey Jr.
“It’s always thrilling man, It’s a brand new amazing thing. I’ve honored to be here.” said Jeremy Renner.
“I just like to hang out with these guys!” Said Chris Hemsworth when asked about staying in such good shape, to which Mark Ruffalo lifted the sleeve of his shirt and flexed with Chris.
“As these guys said, for me this is one of the best experiences I have had on a set. To bring this character to life is just an honor. Awesome.” Said Hemsworth. “Turned into a woman, I don’t want to speak too early but it could be my Oscar.” Hemsworth said when asked about what else he wanted to do as Thor.
“Comic Con is phenomenal, totally amazing. Every year, I’ve been coming here since Episode 1 of Star Wars. It seems like every year I come here, it validates where I belong. I get all this energy and love from everyone that makes me feel like going out and making movies for the rest of the year!” Said Samuel L. Jackson with a smirk.
“I think he’s getting there, Cap is up to speed and he’s not amazing by cel phones anymore. He’s a soldier and he’s used to a change of command. It’s more like this group of people depending on each other without a clear leader and he’s searching for home.” Said Chris Evans about where Captain America is now.
“It’s overwhelming and surreal, I’m so flattered Joss and Marvel approached me with this.” said Johnson. “The characters have such a dynamic in the group. It seemed like a mission that was impossible to do. Everyone had their moment. I enjoy all the Marvel movies and was so excited to be a part of this one.”
“I’ve always thought my whole life, that life could never get weird or crazy enough for me. I have to tell you something. This place might be the weirdest most craziest place I have ever been.” Said James Spader. “Doing this film… Everything was so entirely new. Making it, this character, the world, even the world these movies inhabit… It’s so new to me. It was unimaginably exciting.”
“This has been awesome” said Elizabeth Olsen. “It’s great to bring a new element to the game.”
Then Josh Brolin comes to the panel and says…
“Where’s my rose?”
