Manic Monday! Pinky Says, “Here We Are Face To Face… A Couple Of Silver Spoons!” After Meeting The Cast! Ricky Schroder! Jason Bateman! Corky Pigeon! And More!

You know what’s so funny. I was just thinking and probably thinking out loud, which I often do… Anyway, I was just thinking of how fun it is to meet the random people from shows and movies you love. Sometimes it can be way more exciting than going to be a big premiere and meeting Angelina Jolie… Well, let’s not take it that far, but it’s a real treat nonetheless.

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here thinking how amazing life can be sometimes. Growing up in a small town three hours north of Hollywood, I never imagined I’d ever even see any of my favorite stars in person, let alone get a picture with them or have them know my name.

And yet, yesterday I was able to meet one of the stars of Silver Spoons, Corky Pigeon, who played Ricky’s adorable friend Freddy Lippincottleman on the series. Corky, his beautiful wife, Bobbi, and their adorable daughter, Taylor, came to see Keith’s play in Pacific Palisades. How cool is that? 


It was so much fun to meet them and it was awesome for them to come. But I have to admit, I was such a HUGE fan of Silver Spoons that I was totally fangirling out inside. I mean, come on! It’s Freddy!

Sadly, I forgot to bring my incredible Silver Spoons lunch box to have him sign (fangirl FAIL on my part), but that’s OK. I’m sure we’ll see him again and then I can fangirl out properly. Even though it’s been years since the first time, I still can’t believe I was able to meet the rest of “The Ricker” himself, Ricky Schroder.

And meeting his friends from the show (Jason Bateman,

Alfonso Ribeiro,

and Corky Pigeon)

makes it even better! Now if only I could finally meet Joel Higgins and Erin Gray my life would be complete….
