The Los Angeles Premiere of Rio! With Jamie Foxx being Awesome to Fans! Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenburg Not So much!

Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand! Sorry, I had to do it, when you go to a movie premiere and the movie is called “Rio” who wouldn’t sing Duran Duran… Well, I guess CB, but other than him, I can’t think of anyone else. Today Ms. Anne Hathaway is going to be at the premiere of Rio, and I love my Anne Hathaway. Sure she plagues me, one day she’s nice and fan friendly, the next… not so much. Sigh… Also in the voice cast for this animated sure to be classic… lol… are Jesse Eisenberg, George Lopez, Jamie Foxx, Leslie Mann, and more…

11:01 a.m. – I just got here. CB saved me a spot as he is usually here early. There are not many people here, and I’m sleepy. Lol… I didn’t sleep well, and my allergies all are messed up… ugh…

11:09 a.m. – I am here for one person and one person only… Ms. Anne Hathaway. I love her! And she finished my Love and Other Drugs mini poster… I will always have stuff for her, lol… She can be tough though, let me tell you. I don’t have the bandwidth to tell you how many times she has dissed me!

11:11 a.m. – Seriously.

11:12 a.m. – There is an unsubstantiated rumor that Johnny Depp is going to show up. I doubt it, but grab Anushika to help me find something for him on the Blvd. It’s Hollywood right? There has to be something for Johnny Depp to sign…

11:22 a.m. – There is nothing on Hollywood Blvd. For Johnny Depp to sign. I’m not even kidding. Crazy times!

11:32 a.m. – Oh well, time to focus on Anne Hathaway I guess… Anne Hathawy is usually pretty good to the fans at premiere’s though.

11:43 a.m. – There is a giant black monolith in front of the carpet. Nice, I remember another premiere that had a giant monolith… Love and Other Drugs! Ugh, and that was a debacle! Sigh… I was hoping today would be one of those good days… sigh…

11:57 a.m. – It is a gorgeous day though; I mean its super pretty out. This is the kind of Cali weather I love. Anushika is here, and so is John another collector friend, and so it’s a pretty fun bunch.

12:09 p.m. – CB wants to take a nap again. Lol… I think everyone is only here for Anne Hathaway at least in our little gaggle of peeps.

12:14 p.m. – Heh… I just wrote gaggle of peeps.

12:25 p.m. – The sun is draining my energy. Blech… Arrivals are at one so we still have a little time.

12:37 p.m. – There is like, a lot of traffic today… sigh… Everyone keeps asking me where Erica is, I’m like… she lives in Chicago people!

12:54 p.m. – Oh, I see some random people arriving…

1:09 p.m. – Still not much happening…

1:23 p.m. – All the costumed characters are being relegated to the other end of the Blvd. LOL… It’s funny to see a giant blue guy standing next to Superman!

1:34 p.m. – Tracey Morgan from 30 Rock just showed up. The crowd didn’t really yell too much for him though. Again I don’t have anything for him…

1:43 p.m. – There are a bunch of people standing in the store window of Sketchers watching the carpet. They look really funny!

1:46 p.m. – Oh, there George Lopez, Wow, not a wave! Oh, shit there’s Anne Hathaway! Everyone calls for her, yelling screaming. And wow… nothing…

1:47 p.m. – Everyone continues to scream for her. She looks over and gives us a small wave. I mean really? That’s it? And Anne Hathaway is on the carpet! Sigh…

1:48 p.m. – I’m so bummed! Dammit! I’m shocked that’s all we got… I mean, wow…

1:52 p.m. – Jesse Eisenberg just got here… Not even a wave from him. Man, this is going super well… lol…

1:54 p.m. – Jamie Foxx just arrived. A lot of people yell for him. I have my Valentine’s Day mini poster with me, but honestly, it’s not an important piece for me. Lol…

1:55 p.m. – Holy crap, Jamie Foxx is coming over to sign! Of all the people Jamie Foxx is the one to cross! Are you kidding me? ARE YOU KIDDING ME! He’s usually not fan friendly at all! Crazy…

1:56 p.m. – He’s going super fast but signing for a lot of folks.

1:58 p.m. – Jamie Foxx is near me now, I ask him to sign my poster in silver and he ignores me, and signs it with a black pen, in the black, and for good measure partially on the board I put the poster on. Sigh…

1:59 p.m. – He gets John’s pick guard, and a few other pieces and then stops signing so he can get on the carpet.

Well, at least he came over right? John said this and I kind of agree… “It’s like the cast drew straws to see who would come over and appease the fans and Jamie Foxx drew the short straw.” Lol…

2:11 p.m. – A bunch of us head to the other barricade to see if we can get some people leaving.

2:22 p.m. – The movie has started so… Who knows…? Sigh…

2:34 p.m. – Oh, someone is leaving…. It’s Anne Hathaway, we all yell for her, and get another halfhearted wave. She jumps into her car, and off she goes. Wow, she’s not even going to the after party. The party is across the street and Anne is taking off the other way! Okay… Time to pack it in!

I guess you just have to chalk it up right? It sucks but it’s not like I haven’t gotten her before, so I can’t be too mad… but still, I really thought she was becoming more fan friendly. Sigh… Maybe it was an off day. What can you do right? Scotty is going to be super glad he didn’t come. LOL… Oh, and no Johnny Depp did not show up! LOL!
