Wanderlust – I had heard that this movie was terrible but honestly maybe I have gone completely crazy but I didn’t think the movie was that bad.  This movie is not going to have you falling on the floor laughing but it does have its good parts and will at least keep you entertained for about an hour and a half.  I am a little sad because I think this movie had a lot of potential, I mean you have Jen Anniston, Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux and a decent script I think with a little more tweaking this movie really could have been hilarious.  This movie is good for a few laughs this weekend.

Project X – I think I have made it clear how I feel about found footage movies and if not I will tell you again that I wish that all the found footage would be lost forever. If I didn’t know any better I would think a bunch of teenage boys got together to right this script because it seems that the comedy in this movie is something only they would find funny. Nudity, objectifying women and crazy partying, it is like Superbad but without the lovable characters and oh yeah, being funny.

Jeff Who Lives at Home – Jason Segel could never disappointment me and in this movie he definitely doesn’t.  I find Jason Segel adorable and he is always the lovable giant.  Although the plot is far fetched Ed Helms and Jason Segel are funny and compatible together. This movie is heartwarming and will make you smile in its own quirky way.  This is a good movie to check out this weekend.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows – I really liked the first Sherlock Holmes movie but this one definitely does not live up to its predecessor. In the first movie Robert Downey Jr. is his typical lovable jackass character but in this film I find him much less lovable and much more of a jackass. I don’t think that this is what Sherlock Holmes was meant for, he solves mysteries, since when is he some high flying action hero? I think that Guy Richie ran out of things to do with this movie and that whenever he hit a wall he just added another seen where Sherlock and Watson are put into situations where their sexuality is in question.  And by the end of the film I am so sick of Robert Downy Jr. and Jude Law bickering I am glad that the movie is over.
