The Odd Life Of Timothy Green World Movie Premiere! With Jennifer Garner! Joel Edgerton! And Just Missing a Fanboy Fail By This Much! Autographs! Photos and More!

There are a few people I adore… And even though it seems like I type that an awful lot these days, it’s true. I mean, Kate Beckinsale, Christina Ricci, Shirley Manson, Mark Wahlberg, Parker Posey… Yeah, I can go on… Anyway, add Jennifer Garner to that list. Even since I first saw her as Sydney Bristow in Alias, I was in love. Swoon.

Plus 13 Going on 30 is literally the movie I watch when I’m in the dumps. Putting that movie on instantly makes me happy. Jennifer isn’t always out and about so when she is you have to take advantage of it. In fact the last time I saw Jennifer was The invention of Lying premiere and that was pretty easy so, I’m hoping today is as well.

In case you haven’t figured it out, this is The Odd Life of Timothy Green premiere and also in the cast is Suddenly Susan’s man Joel Edgerton!

3:49 p.m. – I just arrived. Billy Beer is hanging out and having some libations at Hooters. LOL… I wish I could make that up. Scotty is here as well.

4:01 p.m. – It is damn hot… and I’m not talking hot… I’m talking damn hot, like hell has opened up and spit on Hollywood Blvd. That’s frakkin hot!

4:11 p.m. – Sweat… Hot… Sweat… Not pretty. In fact the amount of sweat from the collectors and dealers here could fill a bucket. Ewwwwwww….

4:29 p.m. – I don’t have much with me today. But I do have a Warrior mini poster for Joel Edgerton. It’s cool cause it’s an individual mini poster and I love me some character posters. For Sydney Bristow, I mean Jennifer Garner I have my Alias cast mini poster, a W Magazine, my 13 Going on 30 mini poster and Erica’s Alias DVD insert.

4:48 p.m. – I’m right next to a fine shrub here on the red carpet. I mean it’s a decent spot but… Ugh… I’m making a sign for Jennifer. I need some extra help.

4:51 p.m. – The more and more I think about it… This set up sucks… Sadness…

5:09 p.m. – We are packed like Sardines. Suddenly Susan is behind me all dressed up with no place to go. She was supposed to go in the premiere and then couldn’t. Doh! She looks great though! Plus her boobs look epic!

5:22 p.m. – I’m not going to retype all the boob jokes we did today with Susan. I
promise.

5:32 p.m. – This odd shirtless dude, just walked right on the red carpet and started muttering to himself. He was like, “How do I get by? How…“ and then he started walking in circles and finally towards traffic. LOL… God bless people!

5:43 p.m. – The crowd is literally sandwiched together. I feel like a sardine, but a sweaty sardine smelling faint whiffs of body odor. I swear you can see the smell coming off the crowd.
5:59 p.m. – Scotty is getting ready on his stool. He has a 13 going on 30 DVD cover for Jennifer Garner… I mean Jenna Rink! 😉

6:05 p.m. – Thankfully, the carpet is starting early. Some randoms are here. The press is right across from us, so I’m going to be in the background of a lot of photos looking stupid. Great.

6:11 p.m. – Scotty has an 11×14 photo for Bella Thorne. I think his collection is going to decrease in value with the addition of a Bella Thorne autograph. Is that mean? lol… I’m just teasing!

6:13 p.m. – And there is the woman herself… Ms. Bella Thorne!

She’s coming over to sign for a hot second, but sadly I think she is skipping Scotty.

Noooooo…. He’s going to be so sad… I’m rooting for you Scotty… You can do it brother… Get Bella Thorne! Scotty is a huge huge fan. I mean why else would he have an 11×14 photo of Bella Thorne? Why else? Next premiere we’re going to get a sign for Scotty that says, “Bella Thorne’s #1 fan!” Scotty missed her… Doh!

6:15 p.m. – I’m an ass.

6:18 p.m. – Bruce Boxleitner just arrived. He waved at the crowd. Doh!

6:21 p.m. – It’s madness. I’m literally smushed and for who? no one… Lord. Crazy times. The pushing and shoving… When I’m starting to get overwhelmed I just think of Susan’s boobs and all is well with the world.

6:23 p.m. – I can’t even tell you how big of a fan Susan is of Joel Edgerton. I mean like huge fan. Joel Edgerton is like her Marky Mark or her Mary Louise Parker or her Kate Beckinsale or her Channing Tatum or her Marcia Cross or…

6:35 p.m. – Have I mentioned the intense heat. I might actually pass out… And I’m a giant, I’m totally taking out like four people if that’s the case.

6:38 p.m. – Oh crap, there’s Joel Edgerton!

I have my mini poster out and Joel Edgerton is coming over to sign.

It’s madness, madness, we all let Susan in the front so she can try and get her photo. Joel signs my Warrior mini poster with a silver pen right in the white…. Sigh… Lord why! Ah well…

Within the chaos a few people try and get Joel over to get a photo with Susan… And crazy enough SHE GETS THE PHOTO! Yay! we are all happy for her!

Joel Edgerton is really nice and signs for our section even though I’m not sure he goes down all the way.

6:40 p.m. – Kiernan Shipka from Mad Men just arrived.

6:45 p.m. – Oh crap there’s Jennifer Garner! She started signing at the end of the line and is coming our way. The sun is so bright I can barely see her! Dammit! I hope she gets down this far… Sigh…

6:46 p.m. – There are people crowding around… Dammit! Jennifer gets down a little ways and is like, “I’ll come back!”

We’re like nooooooooo… She goes on the carpet and does some photos with Joel Edgerton.

6:48 p.m. – True to her word Jennifer comes back, but it’s madness… She doesn’t get as far as the edge and I miss her on my poster, I keep yelling and yelling.

Billy got Jennifer to sign and then tried to help me but it didn’t help… Fuck my life. Everyone else got her but me! Dammit!

6:56 p.m. – I’m running around to the other side and I’m literally so pissed off I want to kick someone, which is sad because people are trying to talk to me, so I’m sorry if I was a jackass during this moment but literally I was furious… So pissed you have no idea! No idea!

7:03 p.m. – I ran around the block and made it to the other end where people go in the theatre. Thankfully, there are not that many people here, so I’m hoping we can call Jennifer over. I’m not very optimistic though. Generally, while Jennifer is nice she is “I’m signing once and that’s it.” So…

7:11 p.m. – Joel Edgerton is going into the theatre now. Everyone is yelling for him and he is so nice. He comes right on over and signs and does photos for everyone.

I honestly don’t have anything else for him to sign and I wouldn’t want a photo of myself the way I look right now. lol…

7:16 p.m. – A few more people are going in…. Come on Jennifer…

7:18 p.m. – You have no idea how bummed I am about missing Jennifer Garner before… Sigh..

7:23 p.m. – and there she is! We all yell for Jennifer! She talks with her people for a second and then decides to come over! She says, “I’m only here for the kids guys.” I was like… “No! Jennifer I missed you in the front and then she signed for everyone.” She signed my 13 Going on 30 poster but said no to photos. Billy got a second photo since he got one up front as well.

Whew… What a long day! Well, it wasn’t long per se but it felt long. lol…

I did take this photo of Billy Beer and Suddenly Susan because you all have to see how good Susan looks! Someone even stopped her thinking she was an actress! Awwwwww…

Anyway, thank you Jesus for bringing Jennifer Garner over. Whew… I would have been so devastated… I’m really happy I got at least one thing signed. So, now my mini poster is done! YAY!
