The Vow Los Angeles Movie Premiere! With Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams! Semi-Debacle But Autographs! Photos and More!

Oh Valentine’s Day, you bring out the sappy romantics in all of us, or in my case the bitterness… just kidding, actually I’m pretty much a softie… Anyway, today is the premiere of The Vow, the new Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams Rom-Com that looks like a Nicholas Sparks movie but isn’t. Two of my favorites are in this and honestly it was made for Mike, it’s true. Especially Rachel McAdams… Sigh… Love HER!

I’m hoping to get some stuff signed, even though I know it’s going to be chaos… Sigh… It was at the Sherlock Homes 2 premiere, and Rachel only signed a few there… ugh… So, I’m crossing my fingers…

5:05 p.m. – I arrive and once again CB saved me a spot. Thanks man… And we have a surprise guest! Awesome Anushika has joined us for this Fanboy outing! Finally! It’s been literally a month! I miss her! Sigh…

5:21 p.m. – Scotty is here as well, and CB took off to get In and Out or something… I brought some stuff for Channing including a few magazines, my Dear John mini poster and my The Eagle mini poster. For Rachel I brought my mini posters for Red Eye, Family Stone, and The Vow. I already have Channing on my Vow poster when I met him earlier this year.

5:35 p.m. – The crowd isn’t huge, but it’s bigger than I expected. You never really know… The summer is when it’s totally insane…

5:42 p.m. – Oh my, a truck covered in David Beckham shirtless photos just drove past… I suppose if something is going to block your view, it might as well be Becks…

5:43 p.m. – I mean that’s a huge pic of David Beckham’s…. Uh… package…

5:45 p.m. – Well… The press is in, so God willing this will be a good day. You just never know about premieres at the Chinese theatre… Sometimes they rock, other times… ugh…

5:48 p.m. – Anushika just tapped and said, isn’t that the blonde girl from American Pie? I look up and there’s former celebrity Tara Reid crossing the street with two guys in polk-a-dot shirts and hair standing straight up. Uh…. Okay?

5:49 p.m. – Only in Hollywood man… Only in Hollywood…

6:03 p.m. – The press is waiting just like us… I’m getting excited! I love Rachel McAdams… And The Awesome Anushika offered to help me with Rachel because she only has stuff for Channing… Whoo Hoo! How Awesome is she I ask you?

6:11 p.m. – We are lined up like good little fanboy’s behind the barricade… Just waiting…

6:29 p.m. – Well, the carpet has supposedly started but nothing yet…

6:41 p.m. – Some random arrivals… Producers and such… I really thought Channing would show up on the early side, I guess I was wrong!

6:49 p.m. – Uh… No one… Damn…

6:56 p.m. – Literally, just a few randoms from the movie… Wow… This kinda sucks…

6:57 p.m. – Still… No ONE!

7:07 p.m. – There’s an arrival, it’s Channing Tatum! Everyone screams and screams and he goes right on the carpet… Ugh… Wow, I’m shocked man…

7:09 p.m. – Some random dude keeps running into traffic to take photos… What the hell is this crazy day? Really, it feels like crazy day…

7:15 p.m. – Now there’s this dude with a Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket on his head is riding by yelling at the crowd…. Oh God, I need to go home…

7:16 p.m. – Channing keeps walking back and forth on the carpet… it’s like he’s taunting the crowd. Everyone keeps yelling for him…

7:20 p.m. – There’s Rachel McAdams… We are all screaming and she is coming right on over! With Channing Tatum… FUCK! I’m getting all my stuff ready, and hand Anushika my Family Stone poster…

7:21 p.m. – Here they are, they are crossing the street and, Rachel skips our section… I’m like no… I’m holding my Vow poster out and am like Rachel, can you sign the Vow poster please?

She just looked at me and continued walking… I’m crushed… Anushika holds the Family Stone poster out for Rachel and she signs that….

Then Anushika says, “Give me your other poster!”

Anushika grabs my Vow poster and holds is over for Rachel and Rachel signs that as well before heading down…

Then Channing Tatum comes by. He signs my Dear John mini poster, but he has the worst pen… I mean you can’t even see it. I can’t see it if I look for it, so I didn’t bother taking a photo of it.

He signs Anushika’s Details magazine as well… But the pen is horrible…

He’s doing quite a bit, but Rachel is being really choosey about who she signs for.

7:23 p.m. – I’m trying to run over and see if I can get something else in, but there are just too many people… Rachel heads back across the street but Channing continues to sign… Man, this is literally a cluster fuck… it’s horrible. Channing then stops and heads back across the street… Sigh…

You know, they both did it, and I don’t think it was their fault that this skipped our section but damn… lol… if it wasn’t for the Awesome Anushika I would have been shit out of luck. So, hyper big thanks to her… I bow in thanks… 😉 Also, Anushika once again is the only one who was able to get any pictures… Rocking on all fronts!

Ah well!
