The Walking Dead Season 3 Premiere! With Andrew Lincoln! Norman Reedus! Sarah Wayne Callies! Laurie Holden! Danai Gurira! Autographs! Photos! And More!

The Walking Dead… Probably one of the best shows on television! Seriously! And tonight is the season 3 premiere of the series. Now, they kept changing the location for this, first it was one of the Guild’s, and then it was the Arclight, and now… It’s Universal Studios. Sigh… This could be good… Or it could be bad…

No one really knows if it’s accessible or not.. So, it’s a waiting game. CB is on the scene scoping it out. He’s going to let Billy and I know if it’s worth heading down. I decided not to bring a lot, only a mini poster for season 2, a Love Actually mini poster for Andrew Lincoln and the season 2 Blu Ray cover.

I’m hoping for success!

4:15 p.m. – CB just called and he said it’s accessible! Damn! I’m heading out now and braving the 405 and 101 traffic. lol…

5:23 p.m. – I’m walking over to the premiere. Billy just called and he’s parking as well. Ten bucks here at Citywalk! Sigh… Ah well…

5:31 p.m. – CB saved a spot right in front, then got offered a different spot closer to the drop so off he went there and left Billy and I to fend for ourselves… It’s always nice though when CB offers to try and hold a spot though.

5:45 p.m. – The carpet is really plain. One of the guards said, that the after party was really cool. It’s at The Walking Dead maze inside Universal.

5:47 p.m. – I love that there is a no Dish sign against the backdrop of the carpet. lol…

5:51 p.m. – The crowd is really spread out, so it’s not that crazy. There are a lot of people here though…

5:54 p.m. – It should be starting soon…

6:01 p.m. – I see DVD Dave and Ace farther down the line. I think OTG John is near them as well.

6:04 p.m. – They have a big screen set up and I think they are going to show the carpet and arrivals.

6:08 p.m. – The press are in their pens… It’s almost time…

6:11 p.m. – Billy would like to note, “It’s great talking to someone who doesn’t make the conversation begin and end with Batman action figures and Paul Walker.”

6:18 p.m. – There are a couple of really nice fans next to us. The one girl started writing notes on her hand about who the actors were. LOL…

6:23 p.m. – Oh, some arrivals! It’s Chandler Riggs and Melissa McBride. They are both signing at the same time. They are starting at the very end and are making their way down.

6:26 p.m. – Chandler is moving pretty fast, while Melissa is taking her time. Chandler gets to Billy and I and is happy to sign.

Chandler Riggs actually said to his handler, “This is so cool!” lol…

6:29 p.m. – Melissa is signing her life away making sure everyone gets covered. Super nice!

6:35 p.m. – Uber producer Gale Anne Hurd is signing the full line. She is so sweet. I wish I would have had my druthers and brought Aliens or something like that. Doh!

6:37 p.m. It’s IronE Singleton! The nicest guy on the planet! He is so over the top cool!

6:39 p.m. – IronE is followed right behind by Michael Rooker! Dude, Michael is so cool. I told him how much I loved Mallrats.

6:41 p.m. – There are a couple other new cast members signing as well. All super nice!

6:44 p.m. – Both Lauren Cohan and Jeryl Prescott are signing… Man, it’s like one after the other… Everyone is so cool!

6:47 p.m. – Oh fuck, there’s Andrew Lincoln!

He is literally signing down the line! For everyone, and taking his time. Damn…

6:50 p.m. – Norman Reedus is right next to Andrew Lincoln!

They are both just signing together. LOL… It’s like tag team autographing!

6:53 p.m. – Andrew Lincoln is so nice! He signs my cast poster and then I asked him to sign my Love Actually mini poster. He was like, “So cool!”

Then Norman Reedus was right behind him.

Again, he signed my mini poster. A bunch of people sign the DVD cover too. It’s becoming hard to keep track of everyone!

6:56 p.m. – Oh, Laurie Holden is here! She is sweet as well. She signs my mini poster and my DVD cover as well. Super sweet!

6:57 p.m. – Sarah Wayne Callies arrived and said she would sign after the carpet.

6:58 p.m. – There’s David Morrissey! He’s the Governor this season.

David stops right at Billy and I. Dammit. He promised he would be right back though.

7:04 p.m. – Sure enough David comes back and finishes signing the rest of the line!!

7:06 p.m. – Emily Kinney and Danai Gurira are signing at the same time.

Emily is going slower so Danai Gurira skips around her. Danai Gurira comes over to our section and is very nice signing for both Billy and I. We miss Emily though. Doh!

7:10 p.m. – Robert Kirkman! He is fan friendly as usual and signing his life away. I got him on the DVD and mini poster. Then he ran over to the carpet!

7:15 p.m. – Everything is pretty much finishing up. We are hoping that Steven Yuen will come over and I really think that Sarah will. She promised us twice she would and I know she’s really nice.

7:19 p.m. – People are chanting now for Sarah and Steven.

7:27 p.m. – Oh, Steven is coming over for a hot second. People and their damn photos.

I know Pinky gets mad when I say it, but I’ll tell you, either have your camera ready or give it up. The photos literally took up so much time Steven was like, I have to go. Seriously! Ugh…

7:31 p.m. – There’s Sarah Wayne Callies! She says, “I’m going to start over at the end and come down.” And that’s literally what she does.

I think she signs everything anyone has. She just signs and signs and signs. She does photos, I mean, so frakkin nice! SO SO SO SO SO NICE!

One of the nicest casts ever!

This was a big barricade and I think almost the entire cast signed for everyone. One end to the other. I’m so impressed! It makes you just love a show more when the cast is this cool. It’s true!
