There Are Days When You’re Super Stoked To Be An Autograph Collector! And Then There Are Days You Just Walk Away With One Ali Larter Signature… AKA The Art of Elysium Pieces of Heaven Art Auction!

You know, you find an event, it has a decent list, and you think, okay, maybe if a third or half of the people on the list show up I’ll be happy… Then there are events like The Art of Elysium “Pieces of Heaven” Art Auction where no one shows… Huh… I’m not going to even bother saying who was on this list, but let’s just say one person showed up… Ali Larter. The rest… Nadda… Ah well…

There were some random sightings though… but this was not one of those days that make you happy to be an autograph collector! Lol…

6:30 p.m. – I just arrived and the awesome Ms. Lindsay from I Am Not a Stalker is here with Pinky. Scotty is here as well, along with ten or so dealers… There are a lot of events happening tonight so I figured everyone would be split…

6:43 p.m. – This was a decent list, but a lot of randoms and smaller people that I would normally not go out for but who would be fun to get altogether…

6:54 p.m. – Oh Lord, I swear there are thirty dealers here… I’m not even lying… It’s like they just all came out of the woodwork. What the hell man… I thought there were other events happening… Sigh… This is a clusterfuck…

7:02 p.m. – We’re just lamenting what this night is going to become. Lindsay is debating on leaving, but you never know, it could still turn around… Even though I doubt it…

7:22 p.m. – Nothing, Nadda… Not one arrival… Wow, this is pretty sad…

7:34 p.m. – At least we all have time to catch up, reminisce about our lives, oh wait… There’s someone… It’s… well… No one… Some girl who was in Sorority House? Or something. But the desperation these people feel man, it’s like it was Madonna… And let me tell you, this ain’t Madonna.

7:48 p.m. – Sigh… A couple super small people were here… Alicia Witt… Who I didn’t even bother snapping a photo of and some other random blonde chick.

7:51 p.m. – Wait… There’s… It’s Topher Grace… He’s parking and signs for a bunch of people.

I don’t have anything for him, so you know… It’s cool that he did it. I should have brought my Valentine’s Day mini poster but honestly it’s not worth it to me.

7:53 p.m. – Topher Grace did have a full and manly beard. Inside joke, sorry.

8:02 p.m. – Hmmm I guess the carpet closes at 9 we’re being told…

8:04 p.m. – Brandon Boyd from Incubus just arrived. He’s super nice, but again I don’t have anything for him…

8:11 p.m. – Sophia Bush arrived… I’m not sure but I think she’s on One Tree Hill… She does one photo with the Pinkster and heads inside.

8:21 p.m. – And we are waiting again… I’m giving it until 9:00 p.m. and then I’m out. Pinky spotted a random girl who she said was in Shameless…

8:29 p.m. – Teresa Palmer is arriving… I liked I Am Number 4 but I already have her on my mini poster. But I’m glad she’s cool enough to sign.

8:35 p.m. – There’s some sports illustrated model here, and everyone is going crazy for her…. I’m just staying away, lol…

8:36 p.m. – Oh, and here’s Ali Larter… Finally, I have something for someone! LOL… And Ali says she would sign on the way out. Ah well…

8:40 p.m. – Sophia Bush is leaving… She does photos with people but does not sign.

8:48 p.m. – We’re still waiting…

8:54 p.m. – oh, and there’s Ali Larter, she is so freakin nice! She signs for everyone,

I got her on my Varsity Blues mini poster, and she continues to sign and sign and sign… Hyper nice!

9:04 p.m. – And there’s Brandon Boyd from Incubus… Scotty asked Brandon to pose for a photo with a small card he made that says, “Hi Christine” because his friend is a huge fan of Incubus… And that, as we say is that.

Again, a highly disappointing night… So, I’m heading out. They can’t all be winners, but I still think it’s important to document the nights when you may not have come home with a gaggle of stuff… Otherwise, everyone would think that every time you go out it’s a great night.
