Throwback Thurs! Edward Norton Is Sort Of Nice? Say Wha? Signing Autographs? Even Stopping His Car To Roll Down! What World Is This?

For today’s Throwback Thurs, I was thinking of what my favorite pieces are that I’ve completed over the years and one has to be my Fight Club poster.

Okay, there has been talk, and I by talk I mean sayings like, “He’s a jerk, He’ll never do it, etc…” Still, I decided to try… Albeit with low low expectations. I can only be talking about Natalie Portman… But I’m not… I could only be talking about Molly Ringwald… But I’m not… No… I’m talking about Edward Norton! Ah… The Fight Club and Incredible Hulk star was filming a talk show promoting Moonrise Kingdom. Also on the show today is Leighton Meester from Gossip Girl.

7:12 p.m. – I just arrived. Scotty, Pinky and Suddenly Susan are here. Pinky saved me a spot, but you know I just feel bad. There’s so many people here I feel guilty jumping in front of them. That and I just don’t think Ed is going to do it.

7:15 p.m. – It’s awesome catching up with Suddenly Susan! We need to get Susan out more! She actually was able to meet Edward Norton before but a mishap with a paint pen kind of destroyed her moment. LOL…

7:21 p.m. – I would say over half the people here are for Leighton Meester. I know Leighton Meester from Country Strong but don’t know her at all from Gossip Girl. I’m not their target demographic.

7:31 p.m. – It’s a great night. And honestly I’m having fun just talking to everyone. This is actually a nice group. Billy Beer is here as well…

7:34 p.m. – I brought my Fight Club mini poster for Edward. I have Helena Bonham Carter on it as well as David Fincher who drew a mustache on Brad Pitt. When Brad Pitt signed it, he drew a handlebar mustache on Edward Norton. So… It’s a pretty cool piece. I also brought an Incredible Hulk mini poster just in case. For Leighton Meester I have a Country Strong mini poster.

7:42 p.m. – I’m taking my place at the end of the line. I figure why not right? There are like 100 people here. It’s kind of insane.

7:47 p.m. – It looks like some people are leaving but no one is yelling. No one is doing anything in fact…

7:48 p.m. – Okay, well… It was just verified… That was Leighton Meester leaving and no one yelled. 100 people are here for her and no one saw her? Uhhhhhhhhh that’s odd… Talk about a 100 person fanboy fail! Doh!

7:49 p.m. – Seriously everyone is freaking out that they missed Leighton Meester leaving. I’m a tad shocked myself. What was wrong with the people in front! LOL…

7:53 p.m. – Oh, Edward Norton is leaving. and nadda… Doh…

7:54 p.m. – Not that I expected anything but a diss but you know… I decide to saunter, around the corner to see Ed leave in his car. I’m at the end of the line already what does it matter. Holy crap… Edward Norton stopped his car right at the corner behind the studio. It’s only about five people so it was easy to have him sign the Fight Club poster.

Then I grab the Incredible Hulk mini poster and Ed has no problem signing that as well. He even made sure he signed it in a spot where you can see it.

I’m really happy, even thought Scotty was a tad ticked. lol… I just don’t understand why people don’t sign when it’s at least somewhat organized and then sign for people who run after your car. Even though it worked out for me this time, there are a lot of time when it doesn’t so… I dunno… It just makes me shake my head. But hooray it worked out for me this time. I wish Edward had a better pen and a larger signature but you know, what can you do right?

Edward is a really hard signature to get so I’m happy about that. It was cool of him to stop, not cool of him to not sign for all the people waiting though… lol… Gosh I’m so torn on this one!
