True Blood Season 4 Premiere! Alexander Skarsgard! Anna Paquin! Stephen Moyer! Ryan Kwanten! Joe Manganiello! Deborah Ann Woll! Rutina Wesley!

Today is a long… long… LONG day… I knew it would be crazy, but I just didn’t know how crazy. I found out how crazy when I got a text from Scotty at 8:00 a.m. that said I’m here and the fourth in line… Sigh… What could bring Scotty out so early, why only the True Blood season 4 premiere! Armed with a gaggle of mini posters, magazines, and more I headed out to join him… Not at 8:00 a.m. mind you, but still way earlier than I had planned.

11:12 a.m. – I just parked and am making my way over to the premiere. Scotty is there waiting for me. Wow, this is like an Angelina Jolie premiere… that’s how early it is. Lol…

11:23 a.m. – There are about 15 people here all lined up in an orderly fashion. Frank, who I have now dubbed “The Evil Fanboy”, is here as well as Scotty waiting patiently for Ms. Anna Paquin.

11:34 a.m. – The funny thing is there is nothing set up, no barricades no carpet etc… This is probably a smaller set up than they usually have so I supposed they can put it up fairly quickly.

11:54 a.m. – Awww Anushika just arrived… I hope this means we’re going to get some kick ass pictures for her later on! I don’t know how she does it!

12:08 p.m. – The crowd is growing… About 25 now… Damn… people love True Blood, and it’s a lot of new faces as well…

12:43 p.m. – It is so hot; I just told everyone how sorry I am… cause around 4:00 p.m. I’m going to be one stinky fanboy! Lol… I mean it has to be like 90 degrees! Oh the truck with the premiere set up just arrived!

1:22 p.m. – Uh oh… It looks like security is starting to get the barricades up… I hope people respect the line man…

1:34 p.m. – Security is mulling over the setup for the fan pen, and in this case fan pen is the right word for it! Lol…It’s really small…

1:45 p.m. – Okay, they are letting us in single file. Shockingly everyone is pretty cool, and they are following the line. Since Scotty was here so early we got a kick ass spot right almost on the end.

2:00 p.m. – I just texted CB that Paul Walker was here… lol… I know he won’t believe me, but it brought me a bit of joy.

2:13 p.m. – Dude, CB believed me… What a dorkus!

2:32 p.m. – Scotty brought his umbrella, and thank God cause it really helps with the sun. I can’t even tell you how bright it is… And how hot…

3:01 p.m. – There are like 40-50 people here now…

3:22 p.m. – Evil Fanboy Frank and I head over to the Baja Fresh for some salsa… mmmm salsa… mmmmm Baja Fresh….

4:06 p.m. – We go back from lunch and Scotty was like, Where the hell have you guys been! Lol… I did call him twice to see if he wanted anything. Lol…

4:19 p.m. – The setup is coming along… man oh man…

4:36 p.m. – Scotty devised a new way to carry Sharpies… in his hat! We are delusional right now, the sun is bleaching our brains… it is official!

5:22 p.m. – It’s official the carpet is done and ready to go… And… Oh wait…

5:26 p.m. – They are seriously moving the entire fan pen… yes, it’s closer to the carpet but now we have to fight to keep our original spots!

5:31 p.m. – The barricade has moved but security is not letting us move… Sigh… Oh wait… now they are like… Okay, you can go in, slowly… Yeah… A lady tried to cut Scotty off, and he was like “Hell No!” She claimed that she thought Security was making a spot for the people in back to get in the front. Uh huh… God, some people.

5:42 p.m. – The crowd is hot, sweaty, and now still overflowing the barricades! Ugh…

6:06 p.m. – The press are in their pens… it’s pens all around for everyone!

6:15 p.m. – The first arrival is Tara Buck! She plays Ginger on the show… She’s been in True Blood for a few years now…

6:22 p.m. – God, it’s so hard to see…

6:31 p.m. – There’s Fiona Shaw… She plays Marnie the new head witch and bad guy…

6:35 p.m. – Oh, and Todd Lowe… He used to be on Gilmore Girls, one of my sisters favorite shows…

6:42 p.m. – There’s Charlaine Harris who wrote all the Sookie Stackhouse novels…

6:44 p.m. – Actor Blake Barris is coming over to sign autographs… I don’t think he’s in True Blood though…

6:46 p.m. – I have a generic poster for all the random people and Erica gave me her poster to try and get some randoms on as well.

6:49 p.m. – Oh, and there’s Tara Buck!
She is so sweet and is coming over to sign for everyone.

6:52 p.m. – I think it’s a thrill for the smaller people on the show to get such fanfare as well… I mean everyone can go crazy over Alexander Skarsgard but I like the smaller full ensemble as well!

6:54 p.m. – Todd Lowe is coming over to sign for us.
So nice, he plays Terry on the show!

6:55 p.m. – Now, it’s actor Dean Chekvala… he starts this season in True Blood…

7:05 p.m. – Next is actress Fiona Dourif who just started this season on True Blood.

7:08 p.m. – There’s Fiona Shaw, and she’s coming over. She has such a British sense of humor! Lol… She’s very friendly, and is happy to sign autographs for everyone.

7:11 p.m. – Kristin Bauer is on the carpet and she looks stunning!

7:15 p.m. – Oh, two of the new girls are coming over now… It’s Annie Fitzgerald, who I met before when I visited the set, and Stephanie Erb! I love getting the new people before the show airs!

7:22 p.m. – We can see Nelsan Ellis on the carpet… Oh, there’s Courtney Ford! She was on Dexter last season. She is also the girlfriend of Superman… I mean Brandon Routh… lol… Brandon is actually filming Courtney signing autographs for us.

7:23 p.m. – I told her how much I loved her on Dexter and she was talking with me about how great it was working with John Lithgow… She is so sweet!

7:26 p.m. – Oh… It’s Carrie Preston! I love her! It’s Carrie’s birthday and we all sing happy birthday to her as she comes over!

7:27 p.m. – Carrie is so sweet and signs for pretty much everyone!

7:28 p.m. – It’s like one after the other… man oh man…

7:29 p.m. – Britt Morgan! She plays Alcide’s ex in the show. So sweet… Signing up a storm! And sexy to boot!

7:30 p.m. – Carrie Preston and Britt Morgan signing down the line… how fun!

7:32 p.m. – It’s Lauren Bowles who plays Holly in True Blood. Man, everyone we can see is signing! Awesome!

7:33 p.m. – Oh, and there’s Sam Trammell’s little brother on the series, Marshall Allman who plays Tommy.

7:34 p.m. – Scotty is so geeking out. Lol… He just finished season 3 so this is a really big deal for him!

7:38 p.m. – Oh, it’s Hoyt! Mr. Jim Parrack! He comes over to sign for everyone, and is generally pretty cool… he does seem distracted though. It could be a mob of people screaming his name, lol…

7:39 p.m. – Marshall Allman is signing autographs, Jim Parrack is signing autographs, and now… Kristin Bauer is coming over… Madness!

7:40 p.m. – Kristin looks stunning! I got to talk to her for a hot second about her work with animal rescue which was really cool.

7:43 p.m. – There’s Sheriff Andy Bellefleur, Chris Bauer… Wow, this is pretty awesome! He’s signing up a storm as well…

7:44 p.m. – These posters are getting pretty filled up!

7:47 p.m. – I look up and there’s Sam Trammell! Dammit! I’m digging in my posters and finally find my Sam Merlotte mini poster from season 2. Sam Trammell is super nice and I got him to sign it in my infamous red paint pen…

7:48 p.m. – It’s like being in a constant state of readiness… lol…

7:54 p.m. – And now… Alcide himself Mr. Joe Manganiello! I met Joe last week, which you can read about here, but damn he is so nice!

7:56 p.m. – Everyone is going a tad nuts over him, lol…

8:01 p.m. – Oh crap… Oh crap there’s Deborah Ann Woll! I love her! She’s signing a bunch and she is signing next to Joe! Joe does come over to our section first and then Deborah follows… Man, this is crazy! Scotty and I both get Deborah on our Season 4 posters… I didn’t get her on my Season 3 individual poster because they are being strict about one per person.

8:02 p.m. – I think I need a breather… I’m not going to get one because Alexander Skarsgard is right here! Damn! He is so nice! He’s signing away for everyone…

8:03 p.m. – He signed my Interview Magazine in red paint pen… I love the red paint pens… and then my GQ magazine in silver… which didn’t turn out… So, ask him I say Alex… The pen was dry would you mind resigning the GQ… He looked over and was like, “Yeah, that pen sucks!” Lol… So, he signed it again! I mean really how, nice can you be?

8:04 p.m. – Alexander is literally signing away for everyone! And…Oh shit there’s Nelsan Ellis… Crap on a cracker! I have my season individual mini poster and my season 4 True Colors promo poster… He comes over signs both Scotty’s season 4 poster and my season 4 poster, and then I get Nelson to switch to red for my individual poster… I’m bushed!

8:06 p.m. – Now, Rutina Wesley is coming… Ahhhh… I have the Season 4 poster out and an individual poster as well. She’s only signing one each, and she told us all so… Okay… lol, her publicist saw my individual poster and was like, that’s so cool… Rutina still wouldn’t sign it… lol… I did get her to finish the season 4 poster though, so that’s cool.

8:09 p.m. – Oh shit! Anna Paquin! I’m whipping through my crap for my Almost Famous poster… Anna is in a hurry but is still really nice. She saw the Almost Famous poster and was like, “Wow!” I told her it’s my favorite movie… and then I added besides True Blood of course… and she said, “Well, of course!” Lol… That was pretty funny. I’m sure I am the only one who has an Almost Famous poster at the True Blood premiere!

8:11 p.m. – And then… It’s Ryan Kwanten! I’ve wanted him for so long… I mean I’ve wanted his signature for so long… lol… He is super cool, and finished my season 4 poster and Scotty’s season 4 poster, and then he switched to red and signed my season 2 individual mini poster… Oh my Lord… Literally half the cast is signing at the exact same time!

8:14 p.m. – And now… Here’s Stephen Moyer! He is so nice! I mean super cool. He signed my season 2 individual mini poster in the red paint pen again, and said, “I love this red pen, it looks so cool!” lol… Dude, this is chaos!

8:16 p.m. – Ryan Kwanten is coming back now and I have my season 3 mini poster of Jason Stackhouse out, and he comes over again and signs it in the red paint pen! I mean like… Man, how nice!

Truly a long and hot, and sticky day, but so well worth it. I mean every single person in the cast came over and was super cool. Frank, Scotty and I are jazzed! It’s like such an amazing day, thanks again to the cast for being so awesome!
