TTM Tues! Stamped Signatures? Ugh! Plus Successes From The Stars Of Clerks! Newhart! And More!

I am a huge Tina Turner concert fan- her music is pretty good, but her ability to perform is out of this world! Don’t be mistaken though- NO ONE does it better live than Bette Midler. Anyhow- a couple years ago I wrote to Tina at her home in Switzerland hoping to get the icons autograph. Around a year later, the photo came back..with a stamped signature. To be fair to Tina- she has health conditions that may have affected her ability to sign, so she gets a pass.

Rubber stamp signatures have been around for years, and sometimes it can be hard to tell if your autograph is legit, or stamped. One of my favorites, Gene Wilder was notorious for authentically signing TTM, followed by rubber stamps, and then back to authentic signing.

One of the tell tale signs of a rubber stamp signature is that the ink looks more like a copy, and the ink is usually a matte finish (but not always). When in doubt, do your research on the rubbers!

This week some of your favorites have been signing up a storm! Get out those pens and paper, because this week the stars are aligned for:
