Hello There Everyone! Mercy, it has been awhile since I have been able to come share with wonderful autograph collectors like yourselves. Thank you so much to Mike the Fanboy page for having me back as a guest writer this week, filling in for Troy, man, such BIG shoes to fill! Troy has been on fire the last few months with so many addresses to share. I know his posts have helped add to my collection, here’s hoping I can bring some of that fire, and help add to your collection as well .
90’s Edition! That’s right, let’s theme this week and go old school, retro, throw it back, class reunion, memory lane, whatever you wanna call it. Let’s start this week with a little something like this:
This here’s a tale for all the collectors
Tryin’ to do what those other hobbyists tell us
You’re on a mission and you’re wishin’
Someone can cure your lonely mailbox condition…
Ok, I’m not a rapper, but this first 90’s guy won his First Grammy in 1990 for an amazing hit Bust A Move…

Created in 1984, The TMNT were amazing comics to read and the cartoon was a daily television show in every home. But in 1990, they made the jump from the small screen to the movie screen with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, followed by The Secret of the Ooze and TMNT III. These great comics, cartoons and “Totally Excellent” movies wouldn’t have been possible without the creators Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman:

( This came straight off his website, haven’t seen too many hits, so trying is a chance, but wanted to share)
Check out the hook on this next 90’s artist, he had the song, the beat, the hook, the swag, the fade lines in his hair, everyone stood up and danced when this beat dropped. That’s right, I’m talking about the one and only (sing it with me, it’s ok)
Ice, Ice Baby… and to tie it in, he sang one hell of a rap with those same Ninja Turtles in the Secret of the Ooze film, Ninja Rap!

From 1993-1998 a different kind of cartoon came out. With slight adult humor and slap-stick comedy for the kids, Animaniacs was sure to take over the world every night with the help of two lab rats, Pinky and the Brain. Make sure to follow both the voice actors, as they take daily tweets and quotes from other celebrities and use their famous cartoon voices to bring levity to serious conversations…..

For me, the best duo ever created, came from an Independent movie about two men working at a convenience store and the two stoners trying to make their own independent living outside in the parking lot….. (My Favorite) Jay and Silent Bob!

Now, Kevin Smith just survived a MAJOR heart attack, the widowmaker! So grateful he is still with us, so lets all make sure we send our well wishes in our requests and hopefully he will get well at least, I don’t know, let say 37 letters??

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is always a pleasure to get a moment to write for Mike the Fanboys page, fill in for Troy (yay Troy!) and be able to connect with so many more that follow my own page on Facebook. This community keeps getting bigger and bigger and yes the TTM successes are getting slower and few and far between successes.
But let’s make sure we are kind to one another, let’s help the new and old collectors. Newbies, a little advice, please and thank you goes a LONG way into getting the help you are looking for. And to the Original collector, remember what it was like when you got your first successes, let’s help the newbies get that feeling we all love!
So remember in the words of my last 90’s star, while writing the rich and famous, with Champagne wishes and Caviar dreams…Cowabunga Dudes!
