TTM Tues! COA Madness! What To Look For! Plus Addresses For The Stars of Van Halen! Cobra Kai! Outrageous Fortune! And More!

A while back I purchased a triple signed photo of Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. If I had any doubts if it was legit it came with an official certificate of authenticity from a reputable company. I received the photo and it was in fact signed in 3 spots.. The only problem is that it may not be as authentic after all.

For as long as celebrities have been signing autographs, there have been people trying to make a buck off of it. And if a celebrity is hard to get, those photos could very well be signed by anyone other than the intended celebrity. To make matters worse, some sellers create “Official” certificates of authenticity (COA) declaring a lifetime guarantee that the photo was signed by said celeb. Those COA’s are nothing more than a piece of paper that was printed off a printer. Now to be clear- there ARE actual legit COA’s and reputable companies out there- you just have to do some research.

So how do you know if the signed photo you just got back from a celebrity TTM is legit? The short answer is you don’t. I believe that most celebrities sign their own stuff (or at least try), but you just never know.
