Box Office Breakdown! Elysium Takes The Top Spot! Percy Jackson Is Down For The Count! Jennifer Aniston Didn’t Kill We Are The Millers!
Suddenly Susan is back with this weeks Box Office Breakdown!
Elysium did pretty well in my humble opinion and Jennifer Aniston didn’t kill We
Are The Millers! Score for WB!
Percy Jackson… Buddy.. Whew!
Check out the full recap from Suddenly Susan below!

No surprise at the top spot this weekend was the Matt Damon sci-fi thriller, Elysium. But, it fell short of the $38 million estimated by analysts and hoped for by the Studio, taking in only $30.4 million.
Jennifer Anniston’s new flick, We’re the Millers, came in at number two spot raking in close to $27 million. Not too shabby for an R rated pot smuggling comedy.
Disney’s Planes took flight with $22.5 million. The movie, produced DisneyToon Studios for $50 million, was originally intended for straight to video. The franchise and merchandizing that goes with it will be a financial score for Disney.
Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters came in at number four with $14.6 million, which is less than half its predecessor’s $31 million opening.
Guns 2 fell four slots and rounded out the top five. Looks like its fire power has already run out.
The Smurfs 2 slipped to the number 6 spot, with the hope of breaking even on its $105 million budget nowhere in sight.
Even harsher of a fall was The Wolverine, plummeting from number 2 to number 7.
The Conjuring is still serving up the scares and is one of the summer’s biggest sleeper hits.
Despicable Me 2 continued to rake in the dough at a total now of $338 million domestically.
Finishing off the top ten was Grown Ups 2 that clung to life with another $3.7 million.

I’m predicting that Kick Ass 2 will take the number one spot next weekend, with about $30 million. Paranoia will come in at number two with a much lower $18 million.

Nice!
I wanted to see Elysium but didn’t have the stones. Nice job baby!
Man Percy Jackson! What happened!
Oh Susan-
Who will make it to the top? The premiere! The Numero Uno! I love the suspense. I must see everything you are telling me amount. I will take a small boat and head down the rocky shore to find where I can see these films and I will tell everyone in the village Suddenly Susan sent me and they will smile and weep with me. I will stop them in their revelry and as they burst out into song, I will say, only Suddenly Susan can sing!
Truth-
Now, Susan- Let us stop for a second and ruminate over the top films of the week. Do you really think something like The Wolverine deserves to tumble down the ladder? I think that he is a husky man with a hairy chest and he needs to take his woman away and bring her to a castle with flowers and purple danishes.
Once I wrote a song about a Mexican tree frog named tiallpa who croaked. He was a fine fellow and liked to have us all hear his songs however he had a small tounge and couldn’t catch flies. So Tiallpa was about to die but if it wasn’t for Suddenly Susan Tiallpa would perish the way of the Antelope I have nicknamed Billy Beer. Suddenly Susan, gave Tiallpa mouth to mouth and saved his small life and all was well in the animal world.
Billy Beer died.
I call the song, “tree frog Tiallpa almost died but Suddenly Susan saved him by blowing into his mouth.” My cousin Jeremy liked it and now hums it all the time. Whenever we see a frog he points and says, “Oh, there’s Tiallpa! We need your friend Suddenly Susan to blow on him!” Oh…
Jovial times and much Hoo Ha!
Toodles and Topiaries!
Pound Puppy! What the shiz are you saying? A tree frog?!? are you mental?
