Wondercon Day 2! Signings For Gotham! IZombie! San Andreas! Dead Rising: Watchtower! And More!
Wondercon is over and Suddenly Susan, Erica and I had a blast.
Saturday is always an early day and we got there early for the line drawings in the morning.
Erica chose to pull for Orphan Black while Suddenly Susan and I drew for Gotham.
It took a bit, but all of us were victorious.
Woo hoo!
I was also lucky enough to get iZombie as well.
After the line drawing we did a lap around the convention floor. It’s not really a con without spying Herbert Jefferson Jr. from Battlestar Galactica.
Previews had some great toys on display. I love the infinity gauntlet bank.
Boom! comics had the Big Trouble in Little China comics on display. Very cool!
Con Men which Sean Maher talked with us about earlier was also on display.
Then it was time to head up to iZombie. I ran upstairs while Suddenly Susan got in line for Gotham. Both were back to back.
I was one of the last people through and it was super quick as all the cast was signing fast to get through everyone. The cast was super nice and the poste is awesome!
Warner Bros did a great job of getting people through.
Then I joined Suddenly Susan in line for Gotham.
The signing was with the cast, sadly Donal Logue wasn’t there. Doh!
Ben McKenzie was very nice, even though he was very shy. Robin Lord Taylor was so nice. Seriously, he was just so excited people cared about the show. And Cory Michael Smith was very cool as well. It was a nice group.
After these signings, we ran to the San Andreas booth.
They were having a signing, and we were picked to get in. While The Rock wasn’t in the house, Carla Gugino was!
Carla was Chica in Troop Beverly Hills and she was so nice. I told her that my favorite of her movies was Troop Beverly Hills, and she said, “For the rest of my career, my goal is to make something you like more than Troop Beverly Hills.” lol.
It was very cute.
Then it was time to head to Capcom.
They were having a signing with Dead Rising: Watchtower and we got tickets.
It was funny but when we arrived the woman at Capcom was like, “You can line up, but there are 60 people in line in front of you and you know Hollywood types, they can leave at any time. But if you still want to line up, that’s okay.”
I turned to the Suddenly Susan and said, “Due to the whimsical nature of the industry…”
We did get to see Big Mike in line, and they posed for a selfie.
Then the line started moving, Jesse Metcalfe and Dennis Haysbert were here signing one sheet posters for the new series on Crackle.
Talk about rushed, they didn’t let you talk to any of the actors and tried to hand me a poster before Jesse Metcalfe signed it.
Doh!
Still, it was fun and always nice to meet a Desperate Housewives star.
I have to tell you, that was a fun closing of our day.
And an exhausting day as well. Whew!
But we covered a lot of ground!
Until next time kids…
That was just a touch of training for Comic Con – I’m not ready!!
